Judd Hirsch is an American actor born in the Bronx, New York in 1935. His career in movies and on TV spans over forty years.

From 1978 to 1983, he played Alex Reiger, a cab driver for the Sunshine Cab Company in New York City, on the comedy "Taxi". From there he appeared as John Lacey on "Dear John" (1988-1992), and then went on to play Alan Eppes, the father of the protagonists on the crime drama "Num3ers", from 2005 to 2010.
2. Amanda King and Jill Danko

Answer: Kate Jackson

You may remember Kate Jackson as one of "Charlie's Angels" in the 1970s. But she had recurring roles on television shows both before and after that iconic program.

From 1972 to 1976, Kate played Jill Danko, the wife of one of "The Rookies".
After "Charlie's Angels", she played Amanda King, opposite Bruce Boxleitner in "Scarecrow and Mrs. King, from 1983 to 1987. More recently, she appeared on "Criminal Minds", as Agent Emily Prentiss' mother.

Bill Bixby (1934-1993) was one of the most prolific television stars, having had lead roles on five long-running shows!

He was Dr, David Banner on "The Incredible Hulk" ("You wouldn't like me when I'm angry") from 1977 to 1982. He was widower Tom Corbett on "The Courtship of Eddie's Father) from 1969 to 1972. Bill also starred with Ray Walston on "My Favorite Martian", appeared as "The Magician" in the mid 1970s, and co-starred with Mariette Hartley as news anchors on "Goodnight, Beantown".
4. Sammy Jo Carrington and Stacy Sheridan

Heather Locklear is another actor who has appeared on a number of television shows throughout her career.

On "T.J. Hooker" (1982-1986), she was Officer Stacy Sheridan, opposite William Shatner. At the same time, she portrayed Sammy Jo Carrington on the nighttime soap opera "Dynasty". One of her most famous roles was as the manipulative Amanda Woodward on "Melrose Place", but you could also catch her as Caitlin Moore on "Spin City", and Harley Random on "LAX".
5. Quincy Magoo and Thurston Howell III

If you have ever seen the animated cartoon "Mister Magoo" about a near-sighted elderly man who manages to escape tragedy at every turn, then you are familiar with the voice of Jim Backus (1913-1989).

Beginning in 1964, he was Thurston Howell III, one of the marooned passengers from the S.S. Minnow, stranded on an uncharted island on "Gilligan's Island". But, did you know that in the early days of TV in the 1950s, he played Judge Bradley J. Stevens on "I Married Joan"?

Primetime Emmy Award winner Allison Janney played C.J. Cregg, Press Secretary to President Jed Bartlett; a role which earned her four of her Emmy Awards.

In 2013, Ms. Janney began playing the role of Bonnie Plunkett on the comedy "Mom". She plays a former alcoholic and mother of a former alcoholic on the successful sitcom. She has also had roles in films which include "Juno", "American Beauty", "The Ice Storm", "Hairspray", and "The Help". She is a consummate actress!
7. Chris Keller and Elliot Stabler

Actor Chris Meloni has shown versatility in terms of the roles he has played.

In 1997, he appeared on the cable prison drama "Oz" as the bisexual, sociopath inmate, Chris Keller. Just two years later, the popular crime drama "Law and Order" was spunoff, i.e., "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit", and Meloni was chosen to star, along with Mariska Hargitay. He played tough Detective Elliot Stabler who investigated sexually related crimes ("dun dun").

In 1982, Julia Duffy first began playing the ditsy, self-absorbed maid on the show "Newhart", set in the Stratford Inn in Vermont. In a quote from a 1984 episode: Stephanie: Frankly, Dick, being attractive can be a real burden. Dick: Yes, it's true. Stephanie: You don't know how lucky you are.

A few years later, Duffy played Allison Sugarbaker, cousin of Julia and Suzanne Sugarbaker, on the hit show "Designing Women" (1986-1993). It was a comedy about the owners of an interior design firm in Atlanta, Georgia.
9. D.B. Russell and Arthur Frobisher

While Ted Danson is probably best known for his portrayal of Sam Malone on "Cheers", he has also been cast in a number of other TV shows, both comedic and dramatic.

On "Damages", Ted was Arthur Frobisher, a corrupt CEO, playing a villain opposite Glenn Close's litigator, on this crime drama. After several cast changes, in 2011 he took on the role of D.B. Russell, head of the Night Shift of the Las Vegas forensic team, on the police procedural drama "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation".
10. Selina Meyer and Christine Campbell

Is there life after "Seinfeld"? If you are Julia Louis-Dreyfus, the answer is a resounding 'yes'!

While there was a misstep along the way, i.e., "Watching Ellie", Julia played divorced mother Christine Campbell on "The New Adventures of Old Christine" (2006-2010). She went on to assay the role of politician Selina Meyer on the cable show "Veep", which first aired in 2012, and for which she won several Primetime Emmy Awards.
