Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who was the only one who had RSVP-ed to Addison's get together?

Answer: Dell

Addison went over to Sam's house first thing in the morning to ask him whether or not he would be attending her get together that night. He finally said that he would, after she agreed to go with him to his television appearance. Addison was later acting crabby at the doctors' morning meeting and Sam filled them in that she was upset that no one RSVPed. Everyone suddenly realized they'd forgotten, except for Dell who said that he had already RSVPed yes.
2. While on television, who did Sam point out as a prominent bald man?

Answer: the Arm and Hammer guy

Sam was telling a man that the reason he was feeling under the weather could have been due to the fact that he wasn't confidence due to his baldness. He tried to get man to be proud of his bald head, by identifying other strong bald guys, including himself, Sam.

He also mentioned the "Arm and Hammer guy", and was made fun of for the rest of the episode, because, as he came to realize, the Arm and Hammer guy is "just an arm and a hammer!" It was Cooper who asked if Sam was maybe thinking of Mr. Clean.
3. What reason did Rebecca give Sam and Addison for why she came right from the hospital to their practice?

Answer: The hospital was trying to kill her.

Rebecca had seen Sam on television and ran away from the hospital to the Oceanside Wellness Group to be treated by him, because she thought the hospital was trying to kill her. She said that no matter what the hospital did, she kept getting sicker. Addison was in on Rebecca's case because Rebecca was pregnant.

The hospital that she escaped from was Dr. Charlotte King's hospital, and when Dr. King came to retrieve the patient, she informed Sam and Addison that Rebecca had escaped from the psych ward.
4. Cooper's patient had mononucleosis.

Answer: False

That was Cooper's initial diagnosis, but the tests he ran did not back it up. He finally got his patient, Michael, to tell him what he thought was wrong with him. It turned out that Michael was in love. Cooper told him that he should just be brave and confess his feelings to the object of his affection, and in return Cooper would do the same and tell Violet how he felt about her. Michael took Cooper's advice to heart, but returned shortly after, having been beaten up.

It turned out that Michael was in love with his male friend, Brian, and when he told him, Brian hit him.
5. Why was Cami Davis at the Oceanside Wellness Group?

Answer: bladder infection

Cami is married to Allan, who used to date Violet. Violet spent the whole episode wondering why Cami was around. Naomi, who was treating Cami, finally told Violet that Cami was there being treated for a bladder infection, that had been caused by having too much sex.

While Cami was there, Violet confronted her and while they conversed, Violet realized that Cami was there to scope her out. She tried to assure Cami that she was not her competition, but Cami told her not to be so sure; Alan apparently talked to Cami about Violet all the time.
6. Why was Addison angry at Naomi?

Answer: Naomi had told Addison she had no chance at having a baby

When Addison has visited Los Angeles in the pilot for "Private Practice", which was contained within two third season episodes of "Grey's Anatomy", she had been there to see Naomi medically; Naomi is a fertility specialist and Addison wanted to have a baby.

After running some tests, Naomi told Addison that she had only two eggs left and a low FSH count, and that there was no fertility potential there. In this episode of "Private Practice", Dell showed Addison a bulletin board with pictures of babies on it - they were all babies that Naomi had helped create. Dell told Addison that one of the babies was a real miracle; the mother had had a situation very similar to Addison's, with an even lower FSH count, but Naomi had still helped her conceive. Addison was angry that Naomi hadn't helped her.
7. What was the problem Pete's patient was experiencing?

Answer: randomly falling asleep

Pete was dealing with an older couple who were engaged to be married. The man kept falling asleep and having spells of forgetfulness. The man's fiance feared that he was experiencing these problems because he wasn't in love with her and was dreading getting married. Pete eventually found that the problem was caused by painless migraines that the man was experiencing - that is, he had all the internal symptoms of a migraine without ever feeling it.

These migraines were being brought on by a pressure in his neck that occurred every time the couple made love in a certain position. Pete said he could treat the man's migraine problem, as well as fix up his bad hip, so that they could even try out some new positions.
8. Rebecca had Munchhausen's Syndrome.

Answer: False

Munchhausen's is the psychological disease in which people make themselves get sicker to receive more attention. This is what everybody thought Rebecca had, because all her medical tests showed that she wasn't eating. Addison and Sam performed an innovative test to show that Rebecca has a rare disorder that all the other tests hadn't picked up on, proving that Rebecca wasn't lying.
9. Cooper was finally able to tell Violet how he felt about her.

Answer: False

He tried a couple of times, first at the clinic when Violet couldn't stop obsessing about Cami being there, and then again later, but Violet was going on about how Allan still thinks about her.
10. Who of the following was not at Addison's house at the end of the episode?

Answer: They all were

When Addison and Sam returned from treating Rebecca at the hospital, they found the other doctors and Dell sitting in the lobby drinking wine. Addison was at first annoyed that they could all find to sit around in the lobby hanging out, yet no one had RSVPed for her get together.

They calmed her down and told her that they were all RSVPing yes, and that they were just waiting for her to get back from the hospital. Then they all went to Addison's and had a bonfire on the beach.
