Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. While Bob and Enzo were playing birthday games, Dot was busy choosing the acts for Enzo's birthday show. She was behind schedule because a "Program Censor" was there to make sure everything was appropriate for children. What was the censor's name?

Answer: Emma

The "Program Censor" in the episode was actually named after a lady who worked at the Board of Standards and Practices. She was one of the people who influenced what could and could not go into the show. Just for fun, the creators of the series decided to make a character with the same name do the same job in choosing the acts for Enzo's talent show.
2. The first act to audition for the talent show was an acrobatic troupe who were quickly cut by the "Program Censor". The second was an ordinary binome who decided to audition. What was his talent?

Answer: He could detach every part of his body simultaneously.

Dot loved the first act, the Mainframe acrobats, but the "Program Censor", did not like them. The second audition was a seemingly normal binome with nothing special about him. Dot urged him to go on with his talent, so the binome continued. He struggled for a few seconds before his entire body split apart into several pieces. Needless to say, the act did not impress Dot or the censor.
3. The third act presented a musical number performed by the characters from the first ever computer animated music video. Which band's music video did the characters first appear in?

Answer: Dire Straits

The third act directly spoofed the two crudely animated 3d characters from Dire Straits' video for "Money for Nothing". The likenesses of the characters could be used in "ReBoot" because the company that made the show, also made the music video for Dire Straits. Acknowledging the crudeness of their old animations, the creators decided to have the two characters eliminated once and for all.

The onlookers booed the two animated people so Mike the TV dropped two large anvils on each of them, crushing them instantly.
4. The fourth act was a well-received comedian who was turned down by the "Program Censor". The fifth act was Al's waiter, but he could not even begin his audition because Al never went out on stage. The sixth act was probably the worst of them all. What did the binome do for his talent?

Answer: He juggled nulls.

With the acts progressively getting worse, Dot was not optimistic when the sixth act was presented. She was even more disgusted when she learned that the sixth act juggled nulls as his talent. The "Program Censor" was also offended when she learned that null juggling was outlawed.

The null juggler wore a clown outfit and rode on a unicycle, whilst juggling the ex-sprites. The juggler then made balloon animals out of the nulls. He started small, making a tiny dog, before working on his piece de resistance.

While the nulls shrieked in deafening fashion, the juggler made them into a giant dinosaur balloon animal.
5. While he continued to entertain the birthday boy, Bob was contacted by Megabyte. Why did Megabyte call Bob?

Answer: He wanted to know why he was not invited to the party in Mainframe.

While Bob and Enzo were playing some sort of ball game, Megabyte contacted Bob on a vid-window. When Megabyte mentioned Dot, Bob tossed Enzo into the goal so he wouldn't be able to hear what Megabyte was talking about. Megabyte then asked Bob why he was not invited to the party being thrown in Mainframe.
6. The episode continued with the talent show auditions. Phong continued the auditions, but he forgot the lyrics to his song. The next act was a musical group called "The Small-Town Binomes". They were singing a song very similar to the Village Peoples' "YMCA". What was the name of the song that the binomes sang?

Answer: BS&P

"The Small-Town Binomes" were the first talent that impressed both Dot and the "Program Sensor". "The Small-Town Binomes" were exactly like the village people. They had members dressed as a soldier, a native, a police officer, a cowboy, a construction worker and a biker. "BS&P" spoofed the Village People song "YMCA".

The song's content was clearly inspired by the Board of Standards and Practices, a group of people who really influenced the show's first two seasons.
7. After witnessing the talent show auditions, Megabyte's spy contacted him. The spy said to Megabyte: "The jam is moldy in the kitchen, and the rolling rabbit gathers no moss." Horribly confused, Megabyte asked his spy what on Earth that meant. What did the spy say that meant?

Answer: The Mainframers were holding some sort of a party.

Megabyte's spies originally tried to catch a glimpse of the action back-stage. After the act on stage was kicked off, the curtains were raised and the virals were revealed. All but one of the virals made their slow exit. The one that stayed on stage began break-dancing.

After all of the virals were kicked out, they contacted Megabyte about the party that seemed to be in the works. Megabyte then told his men that they would have to execute "Plan 214".
8. As Enzo headed back to Dot's, he came across the back-stage for the talent show. He did not suspect anything until he stepped on stage and saw his age change before his very eyes. How old did he turn in binary years?

Answer: 10

Enzo went through the back and then stepped on stage. The plate he stepped onto lifted and a countdown sequence began. Enzo instantly turned from 01 to 10. Keeping in mind that binary code only goes in zeros and ones, Enzo turned two years old in binary. 01 is one, 11 is three, and 101 is five.
9. After Dot sang a birthday song to Enzo, Megabyte invaded the party. He did not want to do anything evil, he just wanted to give Enzo a heck of a show. Megabyte initiated a hard rock show for the boy. What instrument did Megabyte play?

Answer: Electric guitar

As an Elvis impersonator began to take the stage, Megabyte's troops took over the party. Megabyte's viral vehicles opened up and revealed some large amps. Hack and Slash took their places on the drum kits while Megabyte made his entrance from inside of a coffin.

As Megabyte began to play the guitar, Bob decided to join in and dual Megabyte with a guitar of his own. What it turned out to be was arguably the coolest moment in the entire show as Megabyte and Bob played against each other for complete rock dominance.
10. After his little rock and roll show, did Megabyte give Enzo a gift?

Answer: Yes

After claiming that he always wanted to play the guitar in front of a live crowd, Megabyte gave Enzo the guitar that he was using. After giving Enzo the guitar, Megabyte walked away. Dot wished Enzo a happy birthday, still trying to figure what just happened.

As Megabyte left the arena, Mike the TV announced that Megabyte had just left the building. Whilst Mike said that, the Elvis character was standing beside him. In old Elvis Presley shows, people announced if Elvis left the building, so the Megabyte reference was a clear take on that.
