1. What was the name of Casper's good witch friend on "Casper the Friendly Ghost"?

Answer: Wendy

Casper made his television debut in 1950 as "Casper the Friendly Ghost". In 1963 a new series entitled "The New Casper Cartoon Show" premiered.
2. Who provided the voice for Hong Kong Phooey?

Answer: Scatman Crothers

This cartoon was about a police station janitor, Penrod Pooch (also voiced by Scatman Crothers) who would change into crime fighting Hong Kong Phooey.
3. On what show would you find a character called Mr. Doo Bee?

Answer: Romper Room

Created by Bob and Nancy Claster, "Romper Room" started out as a local TV show in 1953. Nancy Claster became the first hostess ("Miss Nancy"). Sally Claster Gelbard (Miss Sally) was the second hostess. Molly McCloskey (Miss Molly) was the last hostess when the show ended in 1994. The show can still be seen in syndication.
4. On what kid show would you find the following characters; Joy, Courage, IQ, Harmony and Sparky?

Answer: The Bugaloos

Sid and Marty Kroft (the creators of H.R. Pufnstuf) created this show which featured four fairies (Joy, Courage, IQ and Harmony) that flew through Tranquility Forest with their firefly friend Sparky. The show ran from 1970-1972.
5. What was the name of Davey's younger sister on "Davey and Goliath"?

Answer: Sally

Nancy Wible provided the voice for Sally from 1960-1962 and Norma McMillan provided Sally's voice from 1963-1976. The show is still in syndication.
6. What year did "Sesame Street" first go on the air in the USA?

Answer: 1969

"Sesame Street" first aired on November 10, 1969 on PBS. Many of the original cast members were still on the show into the new century.

"The Care Bears" was originally created by the American Greeting Cards company in 1981. They soon expanded into toys, books and a TV special. They finally got their own TV show in 1985 along with a feature film "The Care Bears Movie" and two movie sequels.

Answer: Phil Hartman

Paul Reubens created Pee-wee Herman as a character in Ruebens comedy show. Pee-wee Herman became so popular that Reubens made a feature film for him ("Pee-Wee's Big Adventure"). In 1986 Reubens brought his character to TV.
9. In the cartoon show "Mr. Magoo", what was Mr. Magoo's first name?

Mr. Magoo was voiced by Jim Backus, best known as Thurston Howell III of "Gilligan's Island" fame.
