Answer: Sweet Polly Purebred

Sweet Polly was actually the love interest of our superhero, Underdog. Whenever she was in trouble she would sing "Where oh where has my Underdog gone?" and with his super hearing would fly to her rescue. Norma MacMillan was the voice of Sweet Polly and Wally Cox the voice of Underdog. The first "Underdog" episode aired October 1964 on the NBC network.
2. This cartoon character had an adopted brother named Hadji and a dog named Bandit. His father, Benton, was a scientist for the U.S. government. What was the name of the character that also happens to be the name of the cartoon?

Answer: Jonny Quest

It was also sometimes known as "The Adventures of Jonny Quest". There were 26 original episodes that aired on ABC during 1964 - 65.

Foghorn was a delight! There were 28 episodes made that spanned from 1946 through 1963. The character was a take-off of the fictional southern Senator Claghorn from "The Fred Allen Show".

"The Banana Splits Adventure Hour" was a variety show that featured these four characters as members of a fictional rock band. Each week different musical songs and comedy skits were performed as part of the weekly meeting of the Banana Splits Club. Fleegle, a beagle, was the group's leader and played guitar. Bingo, a gorilla, played drums; Snorky, an elephant, played keyboards; and Drooper, a lion, played bass. Hanna Barbera created the show which debuted in September 1968 and ran for a total of 31 episodes until September 1970.

Snagglepuss first appeared in 1959 on "The Quick Draw McGraw Show" and then in the early '60s became a regular feature on "The Yogi Bear Show". The character was voiced by Daws Butler and there were 32 total episodes. A similarly named character, Snaggletooth, made on appearance on Huckleberry Hound's show but was more of an orangish color and did not wear the collar and bow-tie that Snagglepuss was always known for.

Billy was a teenager who traveled around the country in a large RV with his guardian, 'Mentor', seeking to help anyone who needed it. Whenever he needed help of any kind he could speak directly to the 'Elders' who empowered him with their magic lightning.

The names of the six 'Elders' were: Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles and Mercury. The first letter of each of their names is the basis for the magic word. The show ran from 1974 until 1977, airing 28 total episodes.

The "Archie" comic books have been around for as long as I can remember. They featured Archie Andrews, Jughead Jones, Veronica Lodge, Reggie Mantle and Betty Cooper. Other characters included their high school principal Mr. Weatherbee, teacher Ms. Grundy, Big Moose and Big Ethel.

The cartoon version also featured a pooch named Hot Dog. There were only 17 episodes that aired during the years 1968-69. Ron Dante was the lead vocals on their hit recordings.

This was yet another Hanna-Barbera cartoon from the early 1960s. Mr. Jinks could almost always be counted on to say "I hate meeces to pieces!" on every show. There were 57 episodes of "Pixie and Dixie and Mr. Jinks" with Don Messick and Daws Butler voicing the three main characters.
