They had spent time together the night before and then Carrie had to be at the hospital for Brady's birth. When she returned to his apartment, he was already gone. This was in the season four episode "I Heart NY".

Miranda was played by Cynthia Nixon.

Carrie watched him first, and then Charlotte had a turn.
This was in "Catch-38" (season 6), when Carrie discovered her Russian man,
Aleksandr Petrovsky, did not want anymore children.

Samantha battled breast cancer. She lived through it, and was in the "SATC" feature films as well.

David Eigenberg played Steve in 41 episodes and two feature films. Steve and Aidan were friends, which made things awkward for Steve when Carrie messed up twice with Aidan. David went on to star on "Chicago Fire" and guest star on "Chicago PD".
