1. Which young actor plays Anwar?

Answer: Dev Patel

Dev began his acting career in 2006 when his mother saw an advert in a newspaper advertising "Skins". The character Anwar was based on Dev's personality and was written specifically for him. Patel is also known for playing Jamal Malik in Danny Boyle's 'Slumdog Millionaire' and has since won numerous awards.

2. What is Anwar's religion?

Answer: Islam

Anwar is a Muslim, although he's not exactly devout, he drinks, takes drugs and has premarital sex. However Anwar still prays five times a day and disagrees with homosexuality, which causes a rift later on in the series with his best friend Maxxie, who is in fact openly gay.

Answer: Relieving himself

The "Skins" gang park up beside a river after leaving Abigale's party. Anwar gets out to relieve himself against a tree and turns round just in time to see his friends plunge into the river.

Answer: Anka

Anwar meets Anka on a school trip to Russia. He witnesses her 'dad' beating her from his hotel window and devises a plan to save her, unwilling Sid in tow. Anwar ends up losing his virginity to her and being confronted at gun point by her 'dad'. It soon becomes evident that her 'dad' is in fact her husband and he's not happy.

Anwar of course dresses as Rambo and Maxxie dresses as Superman. Tony dresses as Luke Skywalker whilst both Abigail and Michelle dress as Princess Leia much to Michelle's dismay! Sketch rather fittingly dresses as Hannibal Lector, whilst Bruce goes for the naval officer look.

The idea of this strategy is to mark yourself out of ten and then make a move on someone you believe to be two marks lower. "Look, a Poodle doesn't get nothing with a Labrador, but if he aims for a Chihuahua, WUFF!"

Despite supposedly working very hard during his last year at college Anwar doesn't do very well, securing just an E and U. Anwar appears genuinely upset throughout the finale and walks off whilst the rest of the gang are revealing their results to each other. Anwar eventually leaves Bristol for London with Maxxie and James, leaving a heartbroken Sketch behind.
