Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Damla, the first guest on Maury's show after Butters joined the boys, suffered from what condition?

Answer: born without a midsection

She walked onto the stage, just legs, arms and a head, and let Maury exploit her for a few minutes. Then he gave her a $300 gift certificate to a CD store. Seeing how easy it was to get a prize inspired Cartman to send Butters on the show!
2. What did the "'Star Trek' dorks" use to give Butters' chin balls shape?

Answer: golf balls

They "made a plastic mold of his chin and then made a latex scrotum and put two golf balls inside." They used spirit gum to stick it to Butters' chin, blended the skin tone with make-up, added "a little hair, and Presto!" As payment, Cartman gave them the original Avid cut of "Star Wars Episode I".
3. What fake freak did the real freaks tell Butters about in the green room at at "The Maury Show"?

Answer: Lobster Boy

Evidently, Lobster Boy used to go on all the talk shows and was "one of the most popular disfigured people" on the circuit. Then one day the freaks discovered that "Lobster Boy wasn't a real freak at all; he was just an actual lobster!" As punishment, the real freaks boiled him alive!
4. What did Butters receive as his prize for going on "The Maury Show"?

Answer: trip to putt-putt golf

Maury sent him to "the largest putt-putt golf course in the world". The boys back in South Park sobered up pretty quickly, as they realized they wouldn't get to reap the benefit of Butters' appearance on the show. Cartman, ever the problem solver, decided to put balls on his chin and go on "Maury" to earn his own prize.
5. What was the theme of the "Maury" show Cartman went on with his mom?

Answer: Please Help My Out of Control Child

He'd originally called the show to try to get on as another boy with balls on his chin, but was told they were now casting for this new show. He assured the assistant that he was out of control and she pulled out her checklist to screen him:
Assistant: "Is your mother in tears every day over how disobedient you are?"
Cartman: "Uh, sure!"
Assistant: "Does she worry about you doing drugs and having sex at such a young age?"
Cartman: "Yeah, sure. I do crack and potpourri and queazies..."
6. Did Butters run when he realized the freaks were coming to his house?

Answer: no

His first instinct was to run, but then he remembered: "Wait! I can't go anywhere; I'm grounded! Oh, Christ, what a pickle!" Butters ended up putting the balls back on his chin so the freaks wouldn't know he was faking and kill him.
7. What celebrity was part of the crowd at Freak Strike 2K2?

Answer: Liza Minnelli

The rally leader addressed the crowd: "We are a strong and diverse group of people, with members like Woman With Crab-Like Body, Incredibly Obese Black Person, Man With Brains Outside of Head, and Liza Minnelli." Later, Incredibly Obese Black Man corrected the leader, "Excuse me, I'm not Incredibly Obese Black Man; I'm Incredibly Black Obese Man."
8. What public office did Cartman claim to have won?

Answer: Congressman

Cartman, continually trying to one-up Vanity and shine as the most Out of Control guest on the show, claimed, "I ran for Congress and won. Then I had sex with an intern, killed her, and hid her body. What-eva! I'll do what I want!" Evidently, Cartman was envisioning himself in Gary Condit's shoes!
9. What movie did Cartman claim to have altered?

Answer: Star Wars

After Vanity told Maury that she'd "helped in a drive-by shooting," Cartman countered, "Whatever. I digitally put Jabba the Hutt back into the original 'Star Wars' movie! I'll do what I want!" Maury agreed, "Wow, that is out of control!"
10. Did the freaks ever find out that Butters was faking?

Answer: no

After Maury had to stop filming his Out of Control Kids show, Cartman confronted Butters in front of the freaks and ripped the balls right off his chin! Butters was sure the ruse was up, but the freaks just thought that the "Out of Control" kid had actually ripped off Butters' deformity and chased Cartman down! Butters didn't get away completely clean, though; his parents drove up and he knew he was in trouble.
