Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The episode starts with Cartman's mom telling him to be careful in the woods, as it is a dangerous place. When his friends pick him up, they laugh at him because of the things his mom tells him. Which piece of advice does Cartman's mom NOT give to her son?

Answer: Beware of bears

Cartman and his friends are going hunting to the woods with Stan's uncle, Jimbo. His mom gives him some tips to stay safe, but all it causes is his friends teasing him and laughing at him about it.
2. The kids keep bothering Cartman, and Stan says "maybe your mom can give me a kissy too!", provoking the anger of Cartman. Which character gets punched by Cartman on their way to the woods?

Answer: Kenny

As the boys keep mocking Cartman about his mom's comments, Kenny mumbles something we can't hear, but Uncle Jimbo thinks is disgusting. Kenny's comment angers Cartman, and makes him punch Kenny. Kenny responds and also punches him.

Instead of stopping them, Uncle Jimbo says "that's the spirit boys, get that testosterone flowing!"
3. Uncle Jimbo proceeds to teach the kids basic rules of hunting. To which of these items do all of these rules pertain to?

Answer: Gun

He tells them to don't ever walk with their gun unless the safety is on, don't shoot anything that looks human, and never spill the beer in the bullet chamber. Stan says they don't drink beer, surprising Uncle Jimbo.
4. Uncle Jimbo says there will be plenty of drinking on this hunting trip but the kids insist they don't drink, as they are too young. Which beverage does Kyle say he does drink?

Answer: Chocolate milk

Jimbo's friend Ned remembers that 8-year-old kids aren't supposed to drink beer, but Jimbo argues that "hunting sober is like fishing... sober".
5. The kids, Jimbo and Ned arrive to their destination, and each kid is given a gun and a beer. Jimbo argues that due to the Democrats, they have to yell "it's coming right after us!" before shooting, so that it is an act of self-defense. After Jimbo kills an innocent bear and an innocent deer, he tells Stan to shoot another animal, but he is unable to do so. Which animal is it?

Answer: A rabbit

Stan is freaked out by how his uncle shoots the animals for no reason at all, and refuses to shoot the bunny. That same night, they make a campfire but Ned ends up getting on fire, literally.
6. While the kids are hunting, Stan's father, Randy, is working at the South Park Center for Seismic Activity, where he notices a volcano is about to erupt. He goes to the City Hall to tell the mayor, who has no idea of what's going on. Who does the mayor want to call after hearing the news?

Answer: Her stylist

Chef is seen trying to convince the mayor to keep serving Salisbury steaks in public schools, when the mayor receives the emergency message. She is told that the geologist is there to explain the situation, although she confuses the name with a gynecologist, and then with a geometrist.
7. The next morning, Cartman is missing, as he wants to scare his friends. Jimbo is fishing with Kenny, and makes him his honorary nephew, which saddens Stan. Cartman is dressed as a scary creature he invented, Scuzzlebutt, to scare the children. He didn't imagine, however, that they would start shooting at him, making him run. Which character says he wants to take the lead on killing Scuzzlebutt?

Answer: Stan

Stan wants to win the affection of his uncle, so he offers to take the lead on killing Scuzzlebutt. Ned points out that killing this creature could get them the cover of the "Guns and Ammo" magazine.
8. The people of South Park are trying to organize a rescue group to get the children out of the mountain, but Randy suggests digging trenches instead. What is the purpose of building such trenches?

Answer: Diverting the lava away from the town

Randy suggests building trenches so the lava doesn't touch the town. His idea immediately is approved by the mayor, who assigns half the volunteers to get their shovels and dig, and the other half to retrieve the children.
9. The South Park citizens are being trained by Officer Barbrady on how to act if a volcano erupts, so they are shown a 1952 video that shows procedure to react to such natural disaster. Which piece of not-so-valuable advice is given to the viewers should lava approach them?

Answer: Duck and cover

Impressively, the citizens are told to duck and cover, and that way they will be safe from lava. Images of people ducking, causing the lava to simply go above them, are showed, and Chef yells that the video is ridiculous. He's right about that!
10. As the volcano erupts, the children run and try to escape, but they encounter the trench, making it impossible to escape. The real Scuzzlebutt shows up, makes a wicker basket out of a tree, and transports the kids to a safe place. The lava doesn't reach South Park, but which other city, in Colorado, is affected by the eruption?

Answer: Denver

The trench fulfills its objective and deviates the lava to Denver, saving South Park and its people. Those who ducked and covered were burned immediately by the lava, but the children were saved. Stan, who wanted to make his uncle proud, shoots Scuzzlebutt, but everyone gets mad at him, as the creature was a hero. Jimbo and Ned decide to stop hunting after this event.

A giant fireball hits Kenny, but he survives. However, when Ned decides to quit hunting, he throws his gun to the ground, it accidentally fires and kills the kid.
