Answer: Topp

Brian Topp is played by the wonderful Mark Heap, who has also appeared in comedy shows such as 'Green Wing' and 'Big Train'.

2. Which of these is not listed by Brian when he is asked what kind of art he produces?

Answer: Confusion

When people find out Brian is an artist, they ask what kind of art he makes. His stock reply is 'Anger, fear, pain, aggression'.

3. What caused Brian to become an artist?

Answer: The death of his pet dog

When Brian was a small child, his dog Pom Pom was hit by a lorry. The colours and emotions that resulted from the accident inspired him to become an artist.

4. What is the real name of Brian's ex partner in the filed of performance art?

Answer: Ian

Brian receives an invitation to a performance art exhibition being given by his old friend, a 'non gender specific' person called Vulva, whose real name is Ian.

5. Where does Brian invite Twist to go on their first date?

The exhibition is of 'Tunde Arungundade's White Paintings'. Twist declines the invitation at first because her shoes are not meant to be walked in. She changes her mind and goes with him, and they become a couple.

Brian receives a letter from his mother telling him that his Uncle Kevin died in his sleep. The problem is, he was on a motorway at the time.

Since Brian has been with Twist, he has been happy and therefore is unable to paint anything. He has not been experiencing any of his signature emotions that induce him to paint. Marsha helps by pointing out that this must be incredibly worrying for him, thereby encouraging him to paint again.

Answer: Chewy

Tim gives everyone a 'Star Wars' related code name on their mission to free Colin from the freelance vivisectionist who has dognapped him. I'm not sure why Brian is most like Chewbacca.

Brian's parents have always thought their son was a lawyer, because he was afraid they would be ashamed of him if they knew he was an artist. When his mother comes to visit, he tells her truth and she is delighted, as she says she always thought he was good at art.

Answer: False
