The year is 2199. Earth is under attack from the planet Gamilon.

Answer: Gamilon

'Radiation bombs from the planet Gamilon...' Gamilon is a dying planet. By attacking Earth with radiation, they hope to make the planet's atmosphere and appearance similar to Gamilon.
3. Who was the leader of the Gamilons?

Answer: Desslok

Desslok was the leader of the blue-skinned Gamilons. Destro was a character from 'GI Joe.'
4. How long did the crew of the Argo have to save Earth?

Answer: 1 year

'In one year, Earth will be unlivable.' Due to the severe radiation poisoning, the population has been forced to live underground. Soon, even these underground cities will have been exposed to too much radiation.
5. What Japanese naval vessel did the Star Blazers convert into the spaceship Argo?

The Star Blazers raised the Japanese battleship Yamato from the dried ocean floor. The ship was sunk during World War II by the US Navy in April of 1945. In the original Japanese format, the show was called 'The Space Battleship Yamato.' They Americanized it for US audiences.
