"Star Trek: Deep Space 9" Quotes Quiz

Who said what and when? Read the quote and name the episode and the character who said it. This should be pretty simple for any "DS9" fan. I also tried to keep it fairly varied, so each character and season gets a question.

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "You couldn't ambush a Bolian if he were blindfolded and tied to a tree!"

Answer: Nog in "The Magnificent Ferengi"

Nog's reply to Rom's suggestion to try 'something easier' after their 'training session', during which Rom runs into a wall and knocks himself out, Quark and Brunt get shot, Gaila runs away and Leck kills Moogie.
2. "How thoughtless of me not to consider the impact the destruction of my home world would have on your business. These must be trying times. Be brave!"

Answer: Garak in "The Way of The Warrior"

Another one of my favourite scenes. Garak and Quark discuss their mutual dislike of The Federation, comparing it to the the 'insidious human drink' root beer.
3. Worf spoke this line to Kira: "Nice hat".

Answer: True

Kira was also wearing a medieval-style hat. Jadzia and Kira had just left a medieval holosuite program (which, unfortunately, we never see) and judging by the argument/conversation, Kira didn't take too kindly to Sir Lancelot trying to kiss her.
4. Lauren said this to Julian in "Statistical Probabilities." "Would we mind if he turned on some lights?! Go ahead! We're not mole people you know!"

Answer: False

This was one of Jack's sarcastic comments to Bashir upon meeting him. Lauren didn't make any remarks like this as she was infatuated with him at the time.
5. Morn gets one line in the final episode.

Answer: False

False. Morn never speaks. The idea of giving him a line in the finale was toyed with, but thankfully rejected. I don't think Morn would have had quite the same charm if he'd spoken. And to think, the costume designers went to all that trouble to create a costume that allowed the actor to speak for nothing.
6. "Commander, I know what I've done isn't exactly policy it may not even be legal but it's right!"

Answer: Kira in "Duet"

Without a doubt the best episode of season 1. Outstanding acting and writing. This particular line is near the beginning of the episode and shows clearly how strongly Kira believes in her ideas at this point, a poignant contrast to the ending (which I won't spoil for anyone who has yet to see it).
7. This exchange occurred between Julian and Garak in "The Wire." Garak: "Doctor, did anyone ever tell you that you are an infuriating pest?" Bashir: "Chief O'Brien... all the time. But I don't pay any attention to him either."

Answer: True

This conversation took place during Julian's second attempt to help Garak. Needless to say, this concern was unwelcome. Luckily though everything turned out well in the end, despite poor Julian still not knowing how much of Garak's story was true.
8. "Would you like to sign it?" was spoken by Sisko to Solok in "Take Me Out to the Holosuite." What was he referring to?

Answer: His baseball

Another amusing scene. Even after losing the game to the Logicans, The Niners still manage to find a reason to celebrate (and get the Vulcans severely cheesed off in doing so!).
9. "What are you smirking at? You're as small as I am."

Answer: Miles in "One Little Ship"

Of course, this was a part of the always-entertaining banter between Julian and Miles in regards to being shrunk. Julian's reply: "Actually, you're sitting one-point-one-four meters closer to the focal point of the anomaly. That means you've shrunk point zero four percent more than I have."
Just as funny is the trick Quark and Odo play on them at the end!
10. This is a line of Jadzia's from "Equilibrium." "Where'd that Bishop come from?"

Answer: False

She said "Where'd that Knight come from?" whilst he mind was wandering during a game of chess with Ben.
