Answer: False

She was in a dreamlike state caused by an alien plant that forced her to think she was back on Krypton. She was however still in her apartment. The plant was called the "black mercy" by the Kryptonians.

2. Who imitated Kara at CatCo while she was incapacitated?

Answer: The Martian Manhunter (with shapeshifting abilities)

The Martian Manhunter struggled to keep up with Cat Grant as her assistant. Cat was rude and overbearing, but no more so than she normally was to Kara.
The Martian Manhunter played Kara/Supergirl twice during the season, both times to fool Cat.

Though Kara technically never showed up, instead it was J'onn J'onzz (the Martian Manhunter) acting as her. He then tried to ask for the day off and got yelled at for it.

Astra was the twin sister of Kara's mother. Kara had unwittingly helped get Astra arrested when she was a child on Krypton. Astra stopped to visit with Kara and was taken into custody in their home after after Kara left the room. Astra had never forgiven Kara for being a part of that plan.
