Eileen, the deaf hunter who worked with the brothers to kill a banshee in season 11's "Into the Mystic," assisted the brothers in "The British Invasion." She tracked down Kelly and Dagon, and then assisted them when they temporarily found Kelly - before she was stolen back by Dagon.

At the end of the episode, standing in the room with Mick's corpse, she told Ketch, "It's over. The grand experiment of recruiting American hunters has failed. Utterly." Ketch asked, "What would you like me to do?" She answered, "Exterminate them. Every last one."

The brothers started out looking for an urban legend, Black Bill, described by a witness. Then, they thought it was a satyr. But, they later learned that the witness had seen a man in a costume with the head of a goat, who was capturing victims for Moloch, the God of Sacrifice.

In exchange for human blood, the God had made the sheriff's family rich. He tried to stop, selling properties and starving the God, but his half brother released the God and brought it victims.

Ketch sent the brothers an email, using Mick's account, assigning them a job. While they were gone, he brought a team into the bunker, and told them, "By the time we leave, Dr. Hess wants to know everything about our friends, the Winchesters; their allies, their habits, how does Sam get his hair so shiny, how many ratty flannels does Dean have. So work quick; work quiet; and leave no trace."

Ketch had slept with Mary in the previous episode, "The British Invasion." He seemed disturbed when he found the photo in Dean's room, and after telling the crew not to take anything, he took the photo. Then, before leaving, he placed a bug under their table. He had also told the crew to find the Colt, but since Dean had it with him, they were unable to find it in the bunker.

Pete had grown up poor and resented his brother. Once he found the God, he made a deal to feed it humans in exchange for wealth. After telling Dean it was the family business (ironically, the way Dean always described hunting), he told Dean that Moloch had "been starved for twenty years," and it would "take a few meals for him to get his mojo going, but then, we are back, baby."

Returning to the bunker after hearing the sheriff talk about his family legacy, Dean asked Sam what would be their legacy. Sam said it would be the people they saved, and that they "left the world better than we found it." Dean then asked what would happen to the bunker after they were gone, and the brothers agreed that they hoped some other hunter would "move in and keep fighting the fight." Dean then pulled out a knife and told Sam they were "leaving our mark." As the two brothers carved their initials into the table, the scene cut back and forth, showing the flashback from "Swan Song," when the brothers, as young children, did the same thing inside the Impala.

At the beginning of the episode, the viewers watched a montage of Sam conducting research and calculations, which led him to determine when Kelly's baby would be born. When Dean walked in and saw it all spread out on the table, he said, "Whoa. What's up, beautiful mind?" "A Beautiful Mind" was a book and movie about the brilliant, but mentally ill, John Nash. Dean had also referred to his brother this way back in season 7, during "Hello, Cruel World."

The episode "The Future" was directed by Amanda Tapping, who played Naomi during season 8.

Answer: Castiel

Castiel told Kelly she would not survive the birth. He said, "Who will care for him when you're gone? Who? Who is strong enough to protect him and keep him from evil influences, to keep him on the righteous path?" It was not until later in the episode that Kelly answered his question, saying that her son told her the answer, and it was Castiel that was strong enough to do so.

She told Cas that the two of them were "destined for something great."

Sam and Dean had a plan to remove the nephilim's grace, so it would be a human child and both the baby and Kelly would live. But, the nephilim added his power to Castiel's power, allowing him to kill Dagon; and after, Cas took Kelly away from the brothers, and told her he believed the child should be born with his powers. Kelly asked what the child had said to convince him, and Castiel responded that it was not what he said, but what he showed him: the future.

The brothers were helping Tasha Banes' twins, who were searching for their mother. Tasha had been killed by a powerful witch. The twins first appeared in "Celebrating the Life of Asa Fox," when it was revealed that Asa had been their father.

This was a nice moment between Dean and "Tasha." During the episode, both brothers seemed a bit jealous of the warm relationship that the twins had with their mother. And, they decided to help the twins after hearing Tasha was on a hunting trip and had not been in touch in a week.

This was a callback to the "Pilot," when Dean convinced his brother to help him search for their father who was on a hunting trip and had not been in touch; and, it was a reminder to Dean that his mother was hunting, and had not returned his calls. Of course, by the end of the episode, it was clear that it was not the real Tasha with whom he had been talking, and now both Tasha and Alicia had been killed. And, unknown to them, the brothers' mother, Mary, was a captive of the British Men of Letters.

Answer: "In Peaceful Dreams" by Seasick Steve

The haunting, bluesy song played as the distraught, mourning Max took the witch's ring, cut out his sister's heart to make the doll, reassured his awakened "sister," and burned the remaining body. The scene was reminiscent of Dean making the demon deal to bring his brother back in "All Hell Breaks Loose, Part 2." Of course, in that case, Dean brought back his actual brother.
