Answer: she conjured up a bunch of feathers instead

After the attempt Leo walked in and wondered why she was creating explosions in front of a lot of windows.

Answer: a spider

Piper had just told Paige that whenever something good happens in her life something bad would inevitably come and ruin it and then Phoebe's demonic ex-boyfriend shimmered in.
