Answer: a gravy boat

When Phoebe sees the two of them after they had just got married, they ask her, since they're not able to have kids of their own, to use her uterus to have their children. Phoebe doesn't really know what to say about this, she had thought of giving them a gravy boat.

Ross gets Joey a job at the museum, even though Joey doesn't know anything about dinosaurs.

The people in the blue blazers don't sit with the people in the white lab coats for lunch. That's just the way it is.

Phoebe's mom knew what it was like to give up a baby, two in fact, so Phoebe went to see her about her dilemma. Her mother tried to talk her out of it, telling her how hard it would be. So that Phoebe could learn how hard it is, she lent her a dog which she would have to give up. It's a really cute little puppy.

After the three days are up, she was supposed to give the puppy back to her mom - but instead she gives it to Frank jr. and Alice. She didn't know it was actually her mother's puppy.

Yes, they do, and they make everyone in the lunchroom share something about themselves. Some of the things were interesting, others were just weird.

After giving them the puppy, she found that it made her feel really good, and even though it would a million times harder to give up a baby than to give up a dog, she though about how it would feel a million better to give them a baby. So, she decides to give them the greatest gift of all.
