Slater, who loves playing football and wrestling, does play-by-play at home. However, when giving the opportunity to be the sports announcer on the radio, we find out that he stinks!

Jessie's first big story on the radio, "Bad Food Hits Bayside, Students Hit Bathrooms", earns her the newspaper credit that, "Spano has a nose for the news."

Another of Slater's not-so-funny jokes on the sports segment was, "Let's look at the old scoreboard...I mean, hey, it's not THAT old!"

When three people were asked to describe the radio station, they said, "Radical", "Really cool", and "The best, man." When the same three were asked to describe Slater, they said, "Awful", "The worst", and "Someone should wave a skunk in his face." Poor Slater!

By the way, "short, fast, and often" referred to the way the sports broadcast was supposed to be presented. Slater did it that way, and he still stunk!

Belding gets upset when they want to go up against the school board to save the Maxx. Jessie says that they have an "obligation to report the truth." To which Belding replies, "The truth? You and Pinocchio Morris?"

Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie Spano) was born Nehama Pnina in Farmington Hill, Michigan on July 28, 1972. She has a degree in English Literature from UCLA. Her biggest roles included "Saved by the Bell" as Jessie Spano and the movie "Showgirls". Berkley auditioned for Kelly. Show officials couldn't decide between her and Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, so they invented the role of Jessie for her.

Tiffani-Amber Thiessen (Kelly Kapowski) was born in Long Beach, CA, on January 23, 1974. She is best known for her roles on "Saved by the Bell", "Fastlane", and "Beverly Hills, 90210". Her best friend is Jennie Garth, who played her biggest enemy, Kelly Taylor, on "90210".

Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zack Morris) was born on March 1, 1974, in Panorama City, CA. He is married to Lisa Ann Russell, whom he met on the set of "Saved by the Bell". She played a sorority girl in the episode, "Rush Week", on the college years. He is most widely known for playing Zack Morris, but Gosselaar has also played Det. John Clark, Jr., on "NYPD Blue" since season 9.

Lark Voorhies (Lisa Turtle) was born on March 25, 1974, in Nashville, TN. She was once engaged to Martin Lawrence, who dumped her on national television. However, she has been happily married since 1996 to Miguel Coleman, who appeared on an episode of "In the House" entitled, "Mr. Hill Goes to New York". Voorhies is well known for her role as Lisa Turtle, as well as roles on "The Bold and the Beautful" and "Days of our Lives".

She reportedly left her "DOOL" role because a sex scene violated her religious principles.

Mario Lopez (A.C. Slater) was born October 10, 1973, in San Diego, CA. He married actress Ali Landry, who filed for divorce June, 2004, after only six months of marriage. He is most known for the role of A.C. Slater, but has been host to numerous games shows, like "Who Wants to Marry My Dad?", "America's Most Talented Kid", "Pet Star", and "The Other Half".

He also had a role on "Pacific Blue".

Dustin Diamond (Samuel "Screech" Powers)was born Dustin Neil Diamond on January 7, 1977, in San Jose, CA. He was only ten when he began playing Screech, his most well known role. He likes to play chess and work with computers. He loves doing stand-up comedy and is a fan of professional wrestling. He played a hilarious version of himself in 2003's "Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star".

That's right...Zack called him the "Zack Morris of the 60's!" The school paper headline read, "Ban of Blue Jeans and Long Hair; Belding Drops Bell-Bottoms, School Board Drops KKTY".

The money had to be raised by noon the next day, so the gang joined together to do an all-night radio show to raise the money.

Screech's impersonation of Al Bundy was dead-on! No wonder one of Dustin Diamond's passions is his stand-up comedy routine.

His dad donated $25.00, as well, so Slater brought $125.00 to the Maxx for donation.

Although the gang had hurt his feelings and he was no longer part of the radio show, Slater came in and gave a speech about the great friends he had and the home he had found there. After expressing how much the Maxx was a part of that home, he got everyone excited about saving the Maxx, again. He really stepped in and saved the day!

Although we don't see it, we know that the Maxx was saved. Oddly enough, this was Max's final appearance on the show. Max was played by Ed Alonzo.

"Come on, ring..." was spoken by Jessie Spano. The phones began to ring and we are left with the impression that the gang raised enough money to save the Maxx.
