Nikki hired Dresden to chase down her aunt's deadbeat boyfriend who had run off with her money.

2. What was the High Council?

Answer: Enforcers of law for the supernatural

The head of the Chicago branch of the High Council was Morgan. Morgan was played by Conrad Coates. He showed up to investigate when a man Dresden was searching for was found dead.

3. How was the man Dresden was searching for found dead?

Answer: Burnt

The man had stolen $22,000 from his client's aunt. While Dresden knew her as Nikki, her real name was Caryn Harris.

4. Who was Lt. Murphy's partner?

Kirmani was played by Raoul Bhaneja. He had also been in "The Sentinel", "At the Hotel", and several animated projects as a voice actor. The character was created for the series, he never appeared in the book series.

Kim Coates played Sirocha, who was this series' form of Evil Incarnate. He referred to all of the evil beings as Hellions. Sirocha also referred to them as such when he talked to Dresden about them. In previous episodes they were called demons.

He convinced Murphy to let him talk to her privately. During that conversation in the interrogation room they had an argument and he was fired. Caryn was later kidnapped out of police custody.

The chain was called the Chain of Sin, it allowed Sirocha, or whoever held it to control the Hellion. If a Hellion ever got his or her own chain they could be free to do whatever they pleased with no one controlling them.

Answer: Matthew

He was a Hellion, and Dresden kept trying to save her from him. She didn't want saving though, instead she attacked Dresden and fled with Matthew.

10. Dresden killed Matthew in the end.

Answer: False

Instead he managed to help Matthew become mortal and escape the ways of evil. They performed a transformation ceremony and destroyed his Chain of Sin.
