1. How does Dogtanian find out that Juliette's uncle has been kidnapped?

Answer: Planchet sees it happen and tells him

At the beginning of the episode Dogtanian is interrupted by Planchet running up to him to tell him the news. Dogtanian thinks that if they find Juliette, they might find her uncle too.

2. How many men kidnapped Juliette's uncle?

Answer: 3

It was three of the Cardinal's guards, most likely under instruction from Count Rochefort.

3. What is the squire cooking in the cottage?

Answer: Baked potatoes

He is seen eating baked potatoes throughout the episode, even while giving chase on horseback! It is highly unlikely that he would be eating potatoes at all, as potatoes were not widely accepted into France until the late 1700s, they were strongly disliked. The squire also gets hit on the head with another garden tool a few minutes later, then Juliette hits him over the head with a log.

There just happens to be a handy scarecrow nearby as he approaches! Rochefort does not yet know Juliette has escaped, so he is not on the lookout for her.

Rochefort decides not to try to catch her, because he thinks she is nervous and will lead them to the Duke of Buckingham. Also, the river is dangerous, and Rochefort does not want to take the risk.

Dogtanian sees Juliette in the water, and jumps in to rescue her. He then realises that he can't swim, and Juliette has to rescue him.

While they are talking Dogtanian accidentally opens his eyes, and Juliette blushes bright red.

The ship has a white flag and a white sail. Juliette steals it during her escape, then she crashes the boat after Dogtanian and Planchet don't open the bridge in time. When the boat owner arrives, they make out that they just passed the boat downstream, and then ask him to take them to Paris! A bit cheeky if you ask me!

10. What is the Ile St Louis?

Answer: An island in the river

Juliette tells Dogtanian to get the Muskahounds to meet them on the Ile St Louis, as it is probably more safe than meeting on the bridge.

11. What is the name of the church that Juliette points out from the boat?

Answer: Church of our Lady

The church is one of the buildings on the Ile St Louis. Juliette points it out to Dogtanian and the boat owner as they approach so that they know where to head.

12. How many guards are chasing Planchet through Paris?

Planchet is on his way to find the Muskahounds and he is being chased (I don't think we ever find out why). The Muskahounds save him, and Athos scares the guards away.

13. When Dogtanian and Juliette land, what building is now prominent in the background?

There is a large wooden windmill visible behind the hedge in the background. We couldn't see this very large building from the boat for some reason!

14. Whose horse has a white nose and white legs?

Answer: Aramis

Most of the time, all of the Muskahounds ride brown horses, but Aramis' seems to change. In a previous episode he had a horse with one white leg, but this one has four white legs and a white nose.

15. Who is waiting for Dogtanian and Juliette when they land?

Answer: Count Rochefort

Count Rochefort is waiting with four guards, which have later somehow multiplied into eight, and then various different numbers! I think the animators were asleep that day...
