Lister trapped the Inquisitor in a field and when he came back online he was dangling from a rope in the crevice in Red Dwarf. Lister lit the rope on fire only to save him from falling. Lister explained that since he saved Inquisitor the Inquisitor couldn't kill him.

Inquisitor then attempted to use his gauntlet that Lister gave back to him only to have it erase him. Kryten had reconfigured the gaunlet just before a frozen Inquisitor was unfrozen. Everything was fixed as if nothing happened.
