The Marine Biologist Trivia Quiz

Answer: Golden Boy

In the very beginning of the episode, Jerry shows Golden Boy to Elaine. Golden Boy is always the first shirt that Jerry wears out of the wash and he's nervous that he's losing his colour in the wash. Elaine tells him to stick it in the sink with some Woolite, but Jerry feels that it will break the shirt's spirit.

Elaine is excited because she gets to work with Yuri Testikov on his new novel for Pendant Publishing. When she tells Jerry it will be like working with Leo Tolstoy, he gives her the story about "War and Peace's" title actually being "War; What is it Good For" and she believes him.

When Elaine laves Jerry's apartment, Kramer is just coming back from playing golf. He gives her an electronic organizer that he got for opening a new account at the bank because he keeps all of his appointments in his head. This organizer later causes everyone a lot of trouble.

After getting his money from the ATM, Diane recognizes Jerry from Queens College and they catch up. She asks about George and brings up the fact that he's never in the alumni magazine. Jerry says that George has become a marine biologist because George brought up a topic about whales earlier.

In order to see Diane, George pretends that he's a marine biologist, and after Jerry tells him the story he calls her up. Throughout the episode, Diane can't get enough of the phony stories that George creates.

While picking Yuri Testikov up in a limo, Elaine brings up Jerry's "War; What is it Good For" joke thinking that it was true and she makes a fool of herself. While she says this, her new organizer starts going off and while she struggles to silence it, Testikov throws it out the window of the limo.

When Kramer returns, he's extremely angry because he was horrible at the beach. He only managed to hit one ball far into the ocean while he missed the rest of them. When he gets back to the apartment, he still has a lot of sand on his body and he can't get rid of it. In the series finale, Kramer gets water in his ear and nearly causes a plane crash because of it.

When Testikov threw Elaine's organizer out the window of the limo, it hit Corrine in the head and she had to go to the hospital. When she looked inside, Jerry's name popped up and they met to straighten things out. Later, they met with Elaine in order to get Testikov to pay for the medical bills.

When Jerry accompanies Elaine in Testikov's hotel room, he says that he is wearing sneakers in case there's trouble nearby so that he can run away. When Elaine is telling Testikov about the organizer, her tape recorder starts making noise and he throws it out the window. Once again, Testikov hits Corrine on the head.

While walking on the beach with Diane, they come across a group of people watching a beached whale. When they ask if anyone's a marine biologist, George is forced to help out. Luckily, he manages to help it by taking something out if its blow hole. This object turns out to be the golf ball that Kramer was able to hit into the ocean.

In the end, Diane obviously discovers that George isn't a marine biologist and unfortunately Jerry's shirt, Golden Boy, fades away.
