Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What does George's father wear in swimming pools?

Answer: Sneakers

In the beginning of the episode, George is nervous about moving back in with his parents. He and Jerry begin to argue over whose parents are weirder than the other. Jerry states that his father has never thrown anything out while his mother has never stepped foot into a natural body of water. George says his mother never laughs.
2. How much money does George have in the bank in the beginning of the episode?

Answer: $714

When Kramer goes to Jerry's apartment, he asks George why he wants to move in with his parents, and George says that he's running out of money. Kramer tells George to move in with him, but he declines the offer. When the guys go to George's parents' house, Estelle offers them some bologna sandwiches, and when they all decline, she tells them that they're going to go to waste unless they take them.
3. What is the low-talker's name?

Answer: Leslie

Elaine and Jerry decide to have dinner with Kramer and his date, Leslie. Leslie is a low-talker which means that she talks very quietly. In fact, Elaine and Jerry constantly need to move in to hear her, and they frequently ask her to speak up.
4. Who set Jerry up with an appearance on "The Today Show"?

Answer: Elaine

Kramer tells Elaine and Jerry that Leslie is a fashion designer responsible for creating the next new fad: the puffy shirt. Elaine is volunteering with Goodwill, and she managed to get Jerry a spot on the show in order to promote the company. When Elaine brings it up at dinner with the low-talker, they unknowingly agree to have Jerry wear the puffy shirt on "The Today Show".
5. Did George graduate from college?

Answer: Yes

During dinner, George's mother tells George to apply for a civil service test in order to get a job, but George says that he doesn't want to work for the post office. Meanwhile, George's father is rambling on about owning a silver coin collection. When George decides to go outside to clear his head, he accidentally walks into a woman and spills her purse.

When he helps her pick up her stuff, she notices that he has exquisite hands and that it might be an idea to model them.
6. What does George like in his Jell-o?

Answer: Bananas

While George is at his parents' house, he begins working on his hands while his parents are sitting with him. While his mother is being supportive, his father starts yelling, and a traditional Costanza argument begins.
Meanwhile, Jerry realizes that he offered to wear the puffy shirt on "The Today Show", and he gets his first glimpse of it.
7. Where are the puffy shirts being manufactured?

Answer: New Jersey

When Jerry wears the shirt, he feels horrible about it since it looks awful. When Elaine walks into the dressing room, she laughs at him and says that he looks like the Count of Monte Cristo. She tells Jerry that he can't possibly wear the shirt since he's trying to promote clothing for the homeless.
8. George's photographer compares George's hands to the hands of another famous hand model.

Answer: True

The photographer compares his hands to those of Ray McKegney. One of the men nearby tells Ray's story to George and says that although Ray could have had any woman he wanted, none could match the beauty of his own hand. In fact, he was not "master of his domain" (as the group would say). Over time, the muscles in Ray's hands caused it to become deformed, and eventually, he lost the use of them.
9. How does George ruin his hands?

Answer: He burns them

After having a great photo shoot, George goes to the dressing room at "The Today Show" to tell Jerry the good news. Leslie is angry after Jerry complains about her shirt on TV, and when George makes fun of the shirt, she pushes him and he accidentally grabs a steaming iron.
10. What happens to the puffy shirts in the end?

Answer: They're given to the homeless

After the iron incident, George and the rest of the gang sums up all of the bad things that happen to them because of the puffy shirt. Elaine is fired from the benefit committee, Jerry is heckled during his show because of the shirt, George loses his hand modeling job, and Kramer breaks up with Leslie.

In the end, since the puffy shirts won't sell, Goodwill takes them, and gives them to the homeless people.
