The Samovar, "Marshall Law" Trivia Quiz

Answer: Two

This is the first scene that we see during this episode and is where Ros and Verity's aunts are cooking them dinner.

Answer: Sandra's reflection in the mirror

While Ros is looking at the samovar you sees Sandra's reflection in the mirror. Ros then screams as she quickly turns around to find both Sandra and David standing in the doorway. Sandra asks her how she got in because she thought it was a burglar. Ros mentions that she let herself in while showing them a key.

Answer: A spider

Ros describes Sandra as a spider when she comes home with some things from her room. She didn't really need them but took them because Sandra was going to throw them out of burn them.

Answer: three or four thousand dollars

This infuriated Ros because she didn't want it sold and said they have no right to sell it at auction. Sandra seemed to want to keep this because of how much Ros and her aunties wanted it.

Answer: A pen

Ros said this when Frank pulled out her father's pen to correct a typo in his speech. Frank seemed to think that it would be better if Ros had it. Ros said that it wrote beautifully and Frank didn't seem to want to part with this pen in which he found when cleaning Joe's old chambers.

Dylan asks to verify this with the police officer during the case in which Gavin was supposedly speeding. They found out that Gavin was in only caught on the radar device for 2.4 seconds which meant that Gavin was unable to be convicted.

Answer: at least 3 seconds

Dylan used this to win the case for Gavin because there is a minimum time in which a radar device must be held on a speeding vehicle and Gavin was only caught for 2.4 seconds exactly. Smart man Dylan!

Answer: Section 458

Gavin stops to show the police man when he tries to arrest him for crossing the traffic lights without waiting. He then runs after him into the chambers and asks for his name and address which Gavin doesn't want to give out but is given by his clerk. Dylan wins this case again because the police officer got his name and address within less than a minute which means that he still gave his name and address and wasn't able to be convicted.

Answer: Susan

Dylan suggests this to Ros as Susan know probate law inside out and would be able to provide the advice for free. But for some reason Ros doesn't want to accept her mum's help.

Answer: Section 184

Susan states this to Ros and Verity when they finally decide to ask for her advice but it wasn't much use anyway because she told them there wasn't really much they could do to get the samovar back.

This is the law that Dylan said he is not interested in because it is too boring, the law that Susan knew inside out and Peter who was involved in that sort of law.

Answer: Verity and Ros

Verity gave in to Ros and they set out to 'reclaim' the Samovour from their old house. They didn't seem to care if they sued them either!

Answer: Gavin

Ros asks Dylan for help again because she feels that she is the only one that is trying to do anything and that it has all turn into a nightmare and she doesn't know what to do anymore. This scene makes me feel sorry for Ros because she looks so helpless when she cries!

Answer: Two

While Verity, Ros and Dylan are having fish and chips for dinner they start arguing about trust and Ros storms off because it seems like another argument starting. After that they are shown sitting on the couch and Verity told Dylan that "Joe really loved him, maybe it should have been him he married".

Answer: Yes

They finally decided that the only way to get the samovar back was to steal it, and they did! They said that they were only securing possessions during the application wait! Very clever way of getting it back.
