He was played by Stanley Adams. He was a traveling salesman. Actor Stanley Adams helped write the episode "Mark of Gideon".

4. Who is with Kirk and Spock in the briefing room?

Chekov explains the treaty, where whoever can develop the planet best may have it. Chekov says that it was Ivan Burkoff who mapped the planet first, but it was actually John Burke who mapped it. Another outburst of Russian patriotism!

A tribble is an adorable, furry, little creature. It comes in varieties of black, brown, tan, white, gray, and more. They purr for humans, but they shriek at Klingons.

6. Why could tribbles be considered a danger?

Answer: They reproduce almost constantly

They reproduce every 12 hours with litters of 10 or 11. They are also born pregnant. They almost overrun the ship. They can hypnotise people with their purr, but it does not cause actual danger. They cannot bite, as Cyrano Jones says that they have no teeth.

7. How much does the barman buy the tribbles for?

Answer: 6 credits

He buys them for 6 credits and tries to sell one to Uhura for 10 credits, but Cyrano gives her the tribble for free.

8. What does Korax, the Klingon, do that starts the bar fight?

Answer: Insult the Enterprise

He did not steal any vodka or insult Chekov. He insulted the captain and that made Chekov mad. He wanted to start a fight, but Scotty stopped him. Scotty shocked Chekov when he started a fight because Korax called the Enterprise a garbage. The lesson here: Never mess with the Enterprise when Scotty is around!

9. What is wrong with the quadrotriticale?

Answer: It is poisoned

Kirk opens a storage compartment above his head and tribbles start raining down. McCoy discovers that more than half of the tribbles are dead. But then they start to wonder who poisoned them.

10. Who poisoned the grain?

Answer: Arne Darvin

They discover that when a tribble shrieks at him. McCoy uses a scanner and it shows that his anatomy is that of a Klingon. At the end, Kirk walks into the bridge and notices that there are no tribbles anywhere. When he asks about them, Scotty says that just before the Klingons went into warp drive, he transported all the tribbles into the Klingon engine room.

This brings on everybody laughing about it.
