1. What was the name of Elizabeth's raccoon?

This episode was titled "The Boy from the CCC". Gino was the name of the boy that ran away from the camp. John-Boy and Elizabeth found Gino on the side of the road where he had hurt his ankle. That's where Elizabeth caught Pete who was also hurt. She brought Pete home to nurse him back to good health. Pete didn't make it, and Elizabeth blamed her father for not taking the time to help her with Pete. Eventually Elizabeth realized it wasn't really his fault and quickly made-up with her father.

2. Who was the boy Erin wanted to elope with?

Answer: Chad Marshall

Chad was a forestry student from Richmond. The two fall in love and want to get married. John and Olivia say Erin must finish school first, but Erin is afraid Chad will leave her before then. The two run off to be married by a justice of the peace. Erin has a change of heart though and realizes she can't go against her family's wishes.

3. What was the name of the doctor on "Walton's Mountain"?

Answer: Dr. Vance

Doctor Vance took care of Olivia when she came down with polio, and he helped Mary-Ellen out when she decided to go into nursing.

We learn about "Jessica" in the last episode of season 5. This episode marks the last regular season apperance of Richard Thomas. John-Boy moves to New York to become a full time writer.

Patsy Brimmer was the niece of Mrs. Brimmer. Mrs. Brimmer owned the boarding house in town. Patsy started calling him James Robert because it sounded more grown-up.

David was a doctor at the hospital Mary-Ellen worked at. After they became engaged she met Dr. Willard and she realized she was in love with him, and not David. The night of the rehersal Mary-Ellen decided she couldn't marry David and ended things with him. She went on to marry Curt. David was played by Robert S. Woods, who is a star on the soap opera "One Life To Live".

7. What is the name of the university John-Boy attends?

Answer: Boatwright University

Boatwright was located in Westham, Virginia. John-Boy was the first Walton to attend college.

8. What was the name of John-Boy's dancing partner for the marathon dance contest?

Answer: Daisy

It was a seven day marathon and Daisy needed to win the money very badly. After three days John-Boy couldn't continue, but Daisy found another partner and stayed until the end. John-Boy would see Daisy again when he moved to New York City.

9. What was the name of the sheriff?

Answer: Ep Bridges

Ep was a close friend of the Walton family for many years. Olivia set him up with a good friend of her's and Ep ends up marrying her.
He wasn't much of a sheriff, but in a few episodes he was an excellent pool player.

10. Here's an easy question to end this quiz. What was Grandma Walton's nickname for Grandpa?

Answer: Old Man

Grandma and Grandpa Walton had the most loving marriage. Even though Grandma always appeared stern and cold, she had a soft spot for her "old man".
