Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In the first sketch, with Kathy working at the Vancome makeup counter, how many customers did Kathy have?

Answer: Three

Technically they probably can't be called customers since she didn't sell them anything. The first one was a woman looking for lipstick, but Kathy said her lips were too thin for their make-up. The second one was played by Phil Lamar, who wanted to get a gift for his wife and Kathy told him they didn't specialize in blacks.

The third woman was looking for blush, but Kathy complained that she didn't understand the lady's accent, saying they only spoke English at Vancome.
2. When Kathy worked at the Vancome the first time, was she fired in the same sketch?

Answer: Yes

Kathy was doing her "La, la, la, la! La, la, la, la! I can't hear you. La, la, la, la" routine with the third customer, when the boss came in. After hearing how she'd treated the customers, Kathy was fired, and her boss took over with helping the third customer, but the boss proved to be just as bad as Kathy.
3. Kathy was picked for jury duty in a case involving a man accused of murder. Kathy's vote was the only one that disagreed from all the rest. Was her vote "guilty"?

Answer: Yes

The other jurors said it was impossible for the man to be guilty because he had one arm and was accused of strangling someone.
4. After learning that they would have to stay all night with Kathy to go over the evidence again, all the jurors changed their vote to match Kathy's. Did their new vote match with her final vote?

Answer: No

Even though they were convinced the man was innocent, all the jurors changed their votes to "guilty" so they wouldn't have to spend anymore time with Kathy. But no sooner had they all changed their votes, she held up a new vote reading "not guilty".
5. When Kathy worked at the Betty Ford Center, she told a man they were saving the Kurt Cobaine suite for a Smashing Pumpkin, or ______________.

Answer: Steven Tyler

A guy named Tim Farlan, (played by Bryan Callen) came in asking for a bed. Kathy asked what his occupation was and he told her he was the dummer for Tyred. Kathy told him 'one hit wonders don't make it here at Betty Ford', and that they were saving the Kurt Cobaine suite for a Smashing Pumpkin, or Steven Tyler, if he came back.
6. Also when Kathy worked at Betty Ford, what was the number of the patient who escaped?

Answer: #641

The patient came out of the elevator and Kathy took a blowing dart gun and blew a dart at the patient. He fell to the floor and some other workers came and picked him up to take him away.
7. When Kathy worked as a guidance counselor at a high school, two members of the football team came into her office, what did she call them?

Answer: Beavis and Butthead

Kathy: "Well hello there! Looks I got me Beavis and Butthead!"
Football player #2: "Excuse me?"
Kathy: "It's so good that this school doesn't discriminate against those lower on the food chain. Don't worry, boys, opposable thumbs are very overrated!"
Football player #1: "Look, we just want information about joining the Marines after school."
Kathy: "Mmm hmm...Ok, you two in the Marines? Tcha...you know what? Uh uh! You see, they have that whole 'Don't ask, don't tell' policy, and..."
Football player #2: "Excuse me?"
Football player #1: "What are you talking about? We're not gay!" Kathy: "Then, why are you wearing those pants?"
Football player #1: "My mom got me these pants!"
Kathy: "Is your mom gay?"
Football player #2: "Excuse me?"
Football player #1: "I don't know why you're doing this, but you better watch it!"
Kathy: "Ok, sir, don't you threaten me! You cannot go around beating up women! Oh, not unless you're a professional athlete, then the fans just look the other way."
8. At Halloween, the first two kids to come to Kathy's house were dressed as a prisoner and a ghost. What did Kathy offer to give to the kid in the prisoner costume?

Answer: Cigarettes

Prisoner: "Give us some treats!"
Kathy: "Okay, yeah, maybe I want to give you some cigarettes, they're like cash where you're going."
Prisoner: "It's just a costume. I'm not a criminal for real, lady." Kathy: "Yeah, that's what Robert Downy Jr. said shortly before he bought his last eightball."
9. When Kathy opened the Halloween show in 1998, she introduced some of the celebrity guests for the episode, who were they?

Answer: KISS

Kathy started off that show by doing what she does best, insulting people. Her 'victims' were all members of the audience, she guessed correctly when she figured one of them was a KISS fan. After that audience member got excited over hearing about KISS, the band came out on stage.
10. When Kathy was a vendor at a football game, one of the first people she insulted was a young boy. What name did she call him because she thought he was gay?

Answer: George Michael

Kathy: "So, enjoying the game there, kiddo?"
Boy: "I don't really like sports that much."
Kathy: "Mmhuh, mmhuh. More of a ballet, leatherchap-wearing move to Frisco and become a florist type of guy, huh? Don't worry, your secret is safe with me, George Michael."
11. At Halloween, Kathy insults two large girls dressed as dogs, and their large mother. What does Kathy say the mother forgot to put along the side of her dress?

Answer: "Goodyear"

Kathy: "Mom, I like your costume but you forgot to put the word 'Goodyear' down the side. Those are cute costumes girls."
Girl 2: "We're dogs."
Kathy: "Oh, don't be so hard on yourselves. No, no, you're probably just going through an awkward stage or something. You'll outgrow it, just like your mom outgrew her last four dress sizes. "
12. Near the end of the Halloween sketch, how long has Kathy stayed in her home?

Answer: Six months

After insulting several trick-or-treaters, a bunch of people riot outside Kathy's house. Kathy gets her bag and a mask and says, "Six months in this place, that wasn't so bad", then she leaves.
13. When Kathy worked as a reporter with the Carolina State Pit Bulls, what was one thing that she revealed to one of the players?

Answer: His grandfather died

Kathy told Dan Conway, (played by Dave Herman) that his sick grandfather had died during the game, which Dan had dedicated to his grandfather. Dan ran out of the room screaming "Grandpa!"
14. Also working as a reporter for the Carolina State Pit Bulls, what was another thing that Kathy revealed?

Answer: Their coach bet against them

Coach: "C'mon men, huddle up here! Huddle up, huddle up!"
Kathy: "OK coach..."
Coach: "Yeah?"
Kathy: "Are you going to be giving them the same speech you gave to your bookie last night? Now what was it that you said? Oh, this team has no chance of winning; five grand says they don't cover the spread. That was it."
15. In the sketch, "Vancome's Last Stand", Kathy returns to work at the Vancome. Like the last time, she is still rude to everyone around her, especially the costumers. Does she get fired?

Answer: No

Boss: "Kathy, I wanna have a word with you."
Kathy: "Uh Oh. Is this the part where I get fired?"
Boss: "No. You were fired in a scene very similar to this about 6 years ago. Then you came crawling back and I thought you were gonna be nicer, but you're not. You're just as evil as ever."
