1. Who was the moderator on most of the episodes?

Answer: John Daly

Bennett Cerf was a long-time panelist, with occasional episodes as moderator. Garry Moore hosted "To Tell the Truth" and "I've Got a Secret." Mark Goodson was the producer of "What's My Line?" and appeared as a contestant, alongside Bill Todman. Goodson also appeared as a panelist occasionally.

Answer: 1950

The series began on February 2, 1950, airing every other week until October 1, 1950, when it began airing every week on CBS. Bennett Cerf first appeared in 1951. Fred Allen's final show was in 1956. The series ended in 1967.

Arlene Francis was not brought in until the second airing, on February 16, 1950. Dorothy Kilgallen was on the original episode.
