Answer: Star Trek

Played by DeForest Kelley, Dr Leonard (Bones) McCoy featured in almost all the original "Star Trek" episodes. Dr McCoy then popped up in the "Star Trek" feature films.
2. Dr Galen Adams was a fixture in which long-running show?

Answer: Gunsmoke

Veteran character actor Milburn Stone played Doc Adams in over 600 episodes during the show's twenty year run. Interestingly, Milburn Stone had racked up more than 160 film and TV appearances prior to landing the part of Doc Adams.
3. Dr Adam Bricker was a leading character on which series of the late 1970's through the 1980's?

Answer: The Love Boat

For ten years Bernie Kopell played Doctor Bricker on "The Love Boat". Kopell was known to TV audiences through many guest appearances on early TV series, such as "That Girl" and "Love American Style". He notably played K.A.O.S. agent Siegfried on "Get Smart".

"Dr Kildare" starred Richard Chamberlain in the role that made him a star. Dr Gillespie, his mentor, was played by veteran actor Raymond Massey. The films of Dr Kildare made in the forties starred Lew Ayers as Dr Kildare and Lionel Barrymore as Gillespie. The Dr Kildare TV series had a hit theme, "Three Stars Will Shine Tonight", and was a top ten hit for Richard Chamberlain in 1962.

"The Interns", which ran for only one season in 1970/71, starred Broderick Crawford as Dr Goldstone. Dr Goldstone was in charge of five new interns, one of which was Sam Marsh played by Mike Farrell. Mike Farrell achieved greater fame when he joined the cast of "M*A*S*H" playing B.J. Hunnicut.

Dr Donald (Ducky) Mallard is the medical examiner on "N.C.I.S.", played by David McCallum. For children of the sixties, like this author, David McCallum will always be Illya Kuryakin from the iconic series, "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." "Medic", "E.R." and "St Elsewhere" were fine medical series. Co-incidentally, Mark Harmon, who is the star of "N.C.I.S.", was a long-time cast member of "St Elsewhere".
9. Dr Joe Gannon was a young doctor in which late 1960's medical series?

Answer: Medical Center

Joe Gannon featured on "Medical Center". The series ran for seven season from 1969 and starred Chad Everett as Gannon and James Daly as Dr Paul Lochner, chief of staff for the medical center. The medical center of the title was part of an unnamed University campus in the Los Angeles area.

In 1963, Chad Everett played deputy marshall Del Stark in the western series, "The Dakotas", which due to being deemed too violent only lasted one season.
10. Dr Maggie Graham belongs in which series?

Answer: Ben Casey

"Man, Woman, Birth, Death, Infinity", these were the opening words for "Ben Casey". Vince Edwards played the title role. Sam Jaffe played Dr Zorba (the head surgeon). Dr Maggie Graham, played by Bettye Ackerman, was Casey's love interest. Ironically, Bettye Ackerman was the real-life wife of Sam Jaffe.
