Manticore infects Max with a deadly virus targeted specifically to Logan's DNA making it impossible for Max and Logan to ever touch.

Max thinks Alec needs a name so she tells Alec that this would be his name - short for "Smart Alec". After he says he could live with that, she says good 'cause her second choice is "Dick".

"The High Place" is introduced in "Pollo Loco" (Crazy Chicken). It is so named because after listening to Ben spin his tales, Max's X5 unit go to the roof to worship Mary Mother of God. After the escape, in Seattle, The Space Needle becomes "The High Place" - it being the highest place in Seattle.

After Max gives Logan a blood transfusion, Max's blood contains stem cells only ever seen present in amniotic fluid a couple of weeks after conception. They are what fetuses evolve from. Logan regenerates use of his legs. The first thing Max and Logan do together after he shows her he can walk is take a ride on her motorcycle.

Joshua doesn't have a bar code because he was the first transgenic ever made, which makes him special because he knows Sandman (the father of all transgenics) personally.

Max is impelled to kiss Logan outside the Cale family cabin. They think they will never see each other again. Of course they take the kiss back later.

Ben is introduced in "Pollo Loco". Max later kills him and Alec shows up in the premiere episode of season two. Alec's character was created for Jensen Ackles.

In "Love Among the Runes", ancient Minoan writings start to appear first on Max's wrist. Then they appear on her back. They are markings similar to Max's bar code - etched into her genetic code. They eventually disappear, but not before Logan snaps a picture and translates most of it.

This is one of the story lines that was being set up for season three which were never had revealed to us.
