Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which of the following characters can get the Egg Orb in "Mario Party 7"?

Answer: Birdo

Birdo is Yoshi's pink female counterpart, just like Mario/Luigi and Wario/Waluigi. The Egg Orb is just one of the many orbs you can collect in "Mario Party 7".
2. In "Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory", which of the following is NOT new to the "Splinter Cell" series?

Answer: They are all new

The OCP disables lights, cameras, and other electronic objects for a few ticks. This is useful if you need to sneak past a camera, or you might find it useful to take out a treadmill while someone is on it. You can now cut through material or cut someone's throat with your knife if you want.

When you're shooting at someone and using the wall as cover, you can change which hand you hold the gun in, so you can shield more of your body behind the wall.
3. In "Mario Kart: Double Dash", what kart do you unlock if you finish the Special Cup in 50CC?

Answer: Bullet Blaster

The Bullet Blaster is Bowser Jr's kart and the Parade Kart is Toadsworth's kart, although he doesn't race. The Rattle Buggy is Baby Luigi's kart while Green Fire is Luigi's kart.
4. In "Animal Crossing", what is the name of the most expensive bug?

Answer: Giant Beetle

The Giant Beetle is worth a whopping 10,000 bells! The other three choices are the runners up for the "Most Expensive Bug Award". The Jewel Beetle is worth 3,000 bells, while the Banded Dragonfly and Bee are each worth 4,500 bells. The "Nintendo DS" version of this game was released December 5th, 2005.
5. In "Call of Duty: Finest Hour", what is the name of the American sniper rifle?

Answer: Springfield M1903

Description (taken from manual): The Springfield M1903, originally developed after the Spanish-American War, is a sniper rifle equipped with a 4x zoom scope. As a bolt-action scoped weapon, it has a slow rate of fire and reloads one round at a time.
6. In "Super Smash Brothers Melee", to get the "Captain Olimar" trophy, you need to start the game with a certain other game already saved onto your memory card. Which game do you need?

Answer: Pikmin

Captain Olimar is a character from "Pikmin". Actually, he's the main character. The basis of "Pikmin" is that your ship crashes into a meteor and your ship breaks into thirty different pieces and is scattered over a planet. You have to use Pikmin to help you carry your ship parts back to the actual ship. Once you get twenty-five out of the thirty parts (five of the parts are not needed, but you can get them anyway), you can leave the plant and return to your home planet.
7. In "007: Everything or Nothing", how do you unlock the secret levels called "M16 Combat Simulator" and "M16 Survival Test"?

Answer: Beat the last single-player mission

The last mission is called "Everything or Nothing". Your objectives are to find the launch area, defeat Diavolo, reach the turret, and avoid the exhaust.
8. In "Lord of the Rings: The Third Age", which of the following people that can join your party is a dwarf?

Answer: Hadhod

The six people you can have in your party are Berethor (Gondor Scout), Idrial (Elf), Elegost (Ranger Scout), Hadhod (Dwarf), Morwen (Royal Guard Captain), and Eaoden (Royal Guard Captain). The characters are listed in the order they become a part of your party.
9. In "Spartan: Total Warrior", which of these two is killed by Crassus. Is it Castor or Pollux?

Answer: Pollux

Pollux is the younger brother of Castor. Castor is more reliable than Pollux because Castor is not reckless and doesn't think that he's invincible. Pollux's reckless behavior would prove to be his downfall.
10. "Trauma Center: Under the Knife" is for the DS. What is the name of the surgeon that you control in the game?

Answer: Derek Stiles

"In the year 2018, making has overcome a number of diseases once thought incurable. Cancer, AIDS, and TFTA are clearly things of the past. However, a new plague has emerged to threaten humanity. It's called GUILT (Gangliated Utrophin Immuno Latency Toxin). Very little is known about this new disease, but rumor has it that GUILT might be the first biological weapon used for "medical terrorism." Our only hope may lie in Caduceus International - a semi-covert organization designed to researchand treat the world's most "untreatable" diseases. Caduceus has managed to keep GUILT from the public so far, but how can they possibly eliminate a disease they don't even know how to treat properly? Meanwhile, Derek Stiles has just completed his residency and joined the surgical team at Hope Hospital, where routing clinical cases are about to become far more serious." - Taken from the manual.
