Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In the mission 'Red Army Training', what will Commissar Letlev do if the player enters and leaves the storeroom four times without obtaining the weapons?

Answer: He will take out his pistol and execute the player

Believe it or not, he can actually kill the player in three scenarios: the player shoots helmet, bottles and plates instead of teddy bears at the beginning; the player enters and leaves the storeroom without the required weapons; the player messes around too long. No matter wherever you hide, he still kills you.
2. How was Pvt. Boyd killed in the mission 'Assault on Matmata'?

Answer: Hit by a German Army Truck

Pvt. Boyd was driving in a British jeep when he was hit by a Wehrmacht truck. The truck can be seen in all missions. Incidentally the British also use the captured trucks.
3. There are destroyable fuel barrels in some missions. What colour are they?

Answer: Red

Red represents the symbol of inflammability. The barrels take two melee hits by the pistols or one melee hit by the rifles or submachine guns to be destroyed.
4. How many tanks are to be destroyed in the mission 'Holding the Line'?

Answer: Seven

The Germans used Tiger tanks in the North Africa campaign as they can manoeuvre easily on the desert terrain. In the mission, the Afrika Korps used Panzerkampfwagen IV instead of Panzerkampfwagen VI (Tiger tanks).
5. Kar98k is the most powerful rifle in the game (also in the war). What is the maximum amount of Kar98k ammo the player can carry?

Answer: 105

It is considerable to use the Kar98k as it can be very deadly at long range. Its primary drawback is its rechambering speed.
6. Which guns do you first have in the mission 'Demolition'?

Answer: SVT40 and PPSh-41

The SVT40 is not a bolt-action rifle. Ergo, it can be very useful in close-range. The PPSh-41 is a famous Russian sub-machine gun which can hold 426 bullets at one time. Its firing sound is similar to a drum.
7. Sgt. Randall orders you to find some German artillery guns in D-Day. Remember: what calibre were those guns?

Answer: 155 mm

The 155 mm guns are the 'Canon de 155 C modèle 1917 Schneider' which were built by the French. After Battle of France in 1940, they were captured by the Nazis and used to reinforce the Atlantic Wall.
8. Sgt. Randall found this town which sits under Hill 400 cute. What was its name?

Answer: Bergstein

After Operation Market Garden in 1944, the Allied forces tries to capture Bergstein in order to immobilize Hill 400 and deny its use to the Germans. This town is located in Hurtgen Forest where a big battle took place.
9. Complete the following line said by Pvt. MacGregor in the end of some British missions: "Looks like the last of the ..., eh Davis?"

Answer: Huns

Huns is an offensive word to the Germans. The word itself though was not as popular as 'Krauts', 'Fritz' or 'Jerries' in WWI and WWII. MacGregor's quote is often said in North Africa after beating the Afrika Korps.
10. In the mission 'Rangers Lead The Way', who shouted "Let's go get the bastards!' and incited an American charge towards Hill 400?

Answer: Pvt. Henderson

Frustrated due to Lt Myers' confusion, he and some other soldiers made it up to the first bunker on Hill 400. It can be presumed that he is braver than the Lieutenant. He can be also heard shouting in D-Day.
