Answer: She has to be equipped with a Runic Blade

Runic Blades are pretty much all swords and daggers, which Celes can equip most of. Some examples are Mythril Blade and Crystal Sword. Other weapons like maces and wands do not have this ability.

2. Magic is an ability that you have to be born with. However, Celes was born normally. She can use magic because she taught herself how to when she was younger.

Answer: False

Celes was genetically engineered by the Empire to be able to use magic. Espers are the only beings that can use magic. Of course, characters equipped with Espers can learn to use magic too! Yay!

Maria is the famous opera singer that everyone is talking about. According to the opera host, Celes is the spitting image of her. Celes replies by saying that she is a general, not some opera floozy! Maria seems to be a common name of NPCs in the "Final Fantasy" series.

Level 98 is a long way to go, but Meteor is worth it. Its the second most powerful spell in the game! If you can get it without Espers, good for you! If you are like me and far too lazy to do all that leveling up, just give her the Odin or Crusaders Magicite.

9. Does Celes ever attempt to kill herself?

Answer: Yes

If you give Cid enough Rotten Fish on Solitary Island, he will die. In her depression, Celes leaps into the ocean and tries to commit suicide. However, she survives and finds Locke's bandana which gives her inspiration to go search for her friends! Woo hoo!

10. What is the name of the Song Celes sings in the Opera House?

Answer: "Aria di Mezzo Carattere"

"Aria di Mezzo Carattere", which means Aria of Half Character, is the song Celes sings in the opera, Maria and Draco. It is very expressive of her love for the character of Draco. If only she would've sang it for Locke...
