Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. There are ten Jiggys, one hundred notes, two empty honeycombs, and three new moves to learn in Mumbo's Mountain. The three moves are the Talon Trot, the Beak Buster, and shooting eggs. Will each one of these moves allow you to get a Jiggy?

Answer: Yes

You basically have to learn the Talon Trot in this level otherwise you won't get past the first room of Gruntilda's lair. The Talon Trot allows Kazooie to carry Banjo around and climb steep slopes. However, there are some slopes which she can't climb such as the ledges in Ticker's Tower.

The Talon Trot will allow you to get two different Jinjos along with many of the notes on the level and a Jiggy on the hill to your right when you first enter the level. The Beak Buster will prove to be one of the most effective moves you'll learn as it's used to activate switches and defeat enemies.

The Beak Buster will allow you to get a Jiggy, some notes, and a Jinjo hidden in the huts surrounding Mumbo's hut. Shooting eggs is also an effective attack and is used to activate switches or events, especially in Gobi's Valley. You can get two Jiggys by eggs.

These two Jiggys can be earned by shooting Conga with three eggs and by feeding Juju, the totem pole near Mumbo's Hut.
2. How many Jiggys are clearly visible in Mumbo's Mountain, excluding Jinjos and the one on top of the termite hill?

Answer: three

In every world there are ten Jiggys and most of them are gained by doing a special task or are well hidden. This world is basically designed to introduce you to the game and has three Jiggys that are fairly easy to get since they are completely visible. One of them is on a ledge to the exact right of the Start/Exit pad, but you need the Talon Trot to get it.

Another one is found in the eye of Mumbo's hut and a simple Flap Flip jump will get you that one. Another one is near the ruins, where you learn the Talon Trot and is on a pedestal in the middle. Collecting five Jinjos in each world will also gain you a Jiggy. All of the Jinjos are clearly visible except for the green one which is hidden in a hut surrounding Mumbo's hut.
3. You would not be able to get everything in Mumbo's Mountain in one run if you didn't find all five Mumbo tokens strewn about. Where can a Mumbo token not be found?

Answer: underwater in the stream

The only things you will find underwater are a few notes. The other two Mumbo tokens are found under the board incline leading up to the entrance to Mumbo's hut and behind one of the pillars in the ruins with the Orange Jinjo. Once you get five Mumbo tokens, Mumbo will transform you into a termite which can cling on slopes that are too steep for Kazooie to Talon Trot on.

However, like the majority of the creatures that Mumbo will turn you into, you are not able to attack.
4. The huts around Mumbo's hut are a perfect way to practice your Beak Buster move. Which of the following will you not find in one of the huts?

Answer: a Mumbo token

In one of these huts you will also find a Jiggy. This will be one of the reasons you would use this move in Mumbo's Mountain. The other reason would be to pound the Witch Switch on one of the ledges near Conga's tree. There is a Witch Switch in each level and it makes something happen in Gruntilda's lair that will allow you to get a Jiggy.

The one in Mumbo's Mountain makes a Jiggy appear on top of the mountain that is the entrance to the world. You need the termite in order to get this Jiggy.
5. The number of Conga's tiles, the amount of Jiggys you can get in Conga's area, and the number of eggs you have to hit Conga with to defeat him, are all the same number. Is this statement correct?

Answer: Yes

The number I'm describing is three. If you stand on Conga's tiles around his tree and have him hit them with an orange you get a Jiggy. You get another Jiggy from stealing an orange from Conga's tree and giving it to Chimpy which is a monkey near Conga's tree.

When doing this Chimpy allows you access to a higher level so you can attack Conga. Bottles teaches you about eggs at his molehill. Then you have to get on a pedestal near Conga and shoot him with three eggs. If you don't get on the pedestal it won't affect him. Be careful though because once you hit him with an egg he'll retaliate by throwing oranges.
6. Where can a Golden Banjo be found in Mumbo's Mountain?

Answer: at the very top of Ticker's Tower

Golden Banjos provide you with an extra life and are usually very hard to obtain. This Golden Banjo resides at the very top of Ticker's Tower which you can only get to as a termite.
7. Bottles always lets you know if you beat your best note score when returning to a world when you didn't collect all the notes. He also lets you know if your best note score is 100. In Mumbo's Mountain, Bottles talks to you one more time when you get how many notes?

Answer: fifty

The reason for him stating that you have gathered fifty notes is because this is the number of notes you need to break the first note door spell. Until you break this spell you can only explore Mumbo's Mountain and Spiral Mountain. You also need the Talon Trot to reach the first note door. You will find several note doors in Gruntilda's Lair and every time you break the spell it allows you to explore more of the witch's lair.
8. In every level you will find five Jinjos and if you manage to rescue all five, you will get a Jiggy for your efforts. Where can one of the Jinjos not be found?

Answer: on a ledge on the hill to the right of the Start/Exit Pad

The Yellow Jinjo is found on a ledge on a hill but that's leading to Conga's Tree which is not to the right of the Start/Exit Pad. The Blue Jinjo is found on an island in the middle of the stream. The Pink Jinjo is found on the elevation near the stream.

The Orange Jinjo is found on top of the ruins where you learn the Talon Trot. Finally the Green Jinjo is found by Beak Busting one of the huts surrounding Mumbo's hut.
9. Which one of the following colors cannot be found on an enemy in Mumbo's Mountain?

Answer: yellow

There are four different enemies on Mumbo's Mountain. There are the blue/violet enemies near the beginning who laugh when they're about to attack you. There are Tickers which are the pink termites near the termite hill and in the termite hill. There is also a blue bull when you cross the bridge and the bull will reappear in Click Clock Wood.

The bull can never be permanently defeated but if you attack it after a while it will faint for a bit giving you time to pass. Conga has black on him.
10. Being a termite will help you get several things in Mumbo's Mountain. Which one of the following can you not get by being a termite?

Answer: eight notes

You actually only get six notes by being a termite and these are found on one of the levels on the termite hill. You get another Jiggy by scaling to the very top of the termite hill. You get an extra honeycomb in a small alcove on the rocky cliff over the stream. Once you climb Mumbo's Mountain getting everything in it you move deeper into the lair.

This will have you finding cauldrons, meeting Brentilda, Gruntilda's good sister, and getting you one step closer to rescuing Tooty.
