Answer: Alliance Affiliation

Some major alliances affiliations are Mushroom Kingdom and New Pacific Order. Other AAs include ones for applicants and POWs.
2. What does the term "DoE" stand for?

Answer: Declaration of Existence

Most alliances DoE at around ten members. Those that do not have a protectorate treaty at that time might endure attacks and tech raids.
3. What is "Planet Bob"?

Answer: Another name for the cybernations community

Most of the activity on Planet Bob happens on the forums which are also known as The Big Boards. All alliance announcements are posted there where all others can view.
4. What does in mean if you are in a "TC"?

Answer: You have a trade circle

Trade Circles (TCs) boost your economy a lot even though it is a task to try and put one together. They create bonus resources that are the main cause for the economic boost.
5. What is "TE"?

Answer: Tournament Edition

"Cybernations Tournament Edition" resets every sixty days. It is the same as the real thing except you start from scratch every reset. Also there is no aid and you have more money to spend when your nation is created.
6. If you are online at "update", when are you online?

Answer: When the statistics for the day are updated

The clocks for update are kept on United States Central Time and that is the only time when you can "blitz attack" an enemy. Every other update (or every new day) you nation gets a small population boost (usually .15 of a citizen)
7. What does the term "CM" refer to?

Answer: Cruise Missile

A cruise missile is used when you wage war against an opponent to destroy some of their infrastructure. By definition it is always the first wave of attack against an enemy.
8. If I were to say I was "back collecting", what would I be doing?

Answer: Not collecting taxes but paying bills

Back collecting is a common way to earn more bang for your buck because you get a 10% interest on it. You can only back collect for 25 days without your nation being deleted.
9. If I were to "improvement swap", what would I be doing?

Answer: Switch improvements for tax collection and bills

Certain improvements lower your bills, then once you reach your last day of back collection you switch back and earn more money. Banks help increase income while labor camps decrease costs. Those are the most common improvements to switch.
10. If I were talking about my "warchest", what would I be talking about?

Answer: The money saved for 100 days of paying bills at any time even if you cannot collect

Warchests are not only for times of war but anytime you might need to pay bills and don't want to collect taxes. It should be enough to get you through a minimum of 100 days.
