Answer: Banjo

After "Diddy Kong Racing", Banjo later appeared in "Banjo-Kazooie" and "Banjo-Tooie" for the Nintendo 64. In "Diddy Kong Racing", he is a heavyweight rider with good speed, but mediocre handling and acceleration.

2. This tiny character is one of the slowest in the entire game, and she's marked on the driver's radar with a pink marker. Who is this character?

Answer: Pipsy

Pipsy the mouse has great handling and acceleration which makes her very good, but she's the slowest character. She can usually rank high because she turns corners sharper and if she hits the zippers and boost balloons right, she can be unstoppable.

3. What is the name of the badger character who wears goggles?

Answer: Bumper

Bumper is a light/heavy-weight racer because he isn't quite as heavy as Banjo and Krunch, yet he's not as light as Pipsy or Tiptup and because of this, he isn't too good at driving a car. He is however good with the hovercraft and plane because of his handling. It's always better if he's in one of the more open-tracked courses for a plane or hovercraft.

4. This is a secret racer and he becomes usable only after you run over him in your car. Who is he?

Answer: Drumstick

Drumstick the chicken attempted to defeat Wizpig, but he was transformed into a frog. After opening the giant stone pig's mouth on the main island, you'll need to run over a frog with a rooster comb with your car to unlock him. Drumstick is faster than any of the non-secret characters, but he has bad acceleration and handling.

5. This character wears a baseball cap with the "Rare" symbol on it. Which racer is this?

Answer: Timber

Timber the tiger is actually a middle-weight character along with Diddy. In his green car, he has average handling, speed, and acceleration. He is basically one of the most well-rounded characters in the game.

6. This character is featured in many Nintendo games including "Donkey Kong Country", "Donkey Kong Country 2", and "Donkey Kong 64". Which character is it?

Answer: Diddy

Diddy is a middle-weight racer, but he is definitely close to being light-weight. He's quite slow, but his handling and acceleration are good. Being a middle-weight, he's good in cars and planes, but he's a bit tricky to manage in a hovercraft.

7. There is a skull and crossbones symbol on Krunch's vest.

Answer: True

Krunch is the heaviest player in the game, and because of this, his speed is only surpassed by the secret characters. Since he's a heavy-weight racer, his handling and acceleration are very bad.

8. This turtle character is one of the lighter players in the game. What is the racer's name?

Answer: Tiptup

Tiptup the turtle is a light-weight racer with good handling and acceleration, but his speed is low. Being a light-weight player, Tiptup (along with Pipsy) is good in the car and the plane, but because of their weight, they aren't too great for the hovercraft.

Answer: Conker

I guess "squirrelly" fits his personality well because he's a squirrel. :) He's another light/heavy-weight racer. Because of this, he's not too good in the car, but he's good in open plane and hovercraft levels like "Windmill Plains" and "Whale Bay".

10. T.T. is the only racer who isn't an animal.

Answer: True

T.T. the time trial clock can become a racer once you unlock him. How you ask? All you need to do is beat him in his time trials in every level. He's the fastest racer in the whole game, and he has the best acceleration. His handling is a medium between Pipsy and Krunch.
