That's right! Before entering the Dino Domain in the very beginning, you can hop into the seat of your plane and fly around to find four balloons. One is at the entrance to Dino Domain, one is out at sea, another is near the waterfalls, and another is nestled between some trees and the giant log.

The first level to feature the green balloon is "Fossil Canyon" which is played just after "Ancient Lake". The green balloon will provide you with a trap that can be upgraded from oil, to a mine, to a bubble. Each one is considerably worse when someone hits it, so it's good to hit more green balloons to build its strength.

"Fire Mountain" is a bonus track that needs to be unlocked with a key from "Ancient Lake". In "Fire Mountain", you'll need to hatch three eggs to win, but you'll need to prevent others from doing the same. In the end, you could win a quarter of the priceless T.T. Amulet.

Tricky the Triceratops has a track that spirals up a mountain. Half-way up, there's a shortcut that should be able to get you ahead by a bit. Near the top of the mountain, Tricky will slow down and you'll be able to pass him at the finish line.

"Hot Top Volcano" is the most expensive track (balloon-wise) to enter. The first time it is played, you need five balloons, but during the second time around, it costs ten. "Hot Top Volcano" is one of the three normal racetracks in the game that is based around the plane.

Taj will challenge you for the first time either when you leave Dino Domain for the first time, or when you play the file for the second time. Taj will also challenge you in the plane and hovercraft at different times.

On the loop-de-loop in "Walrus Cove", it's basically pointless to use any items. Along the loop, you don't need to accelerate because it automatically boosts your car. The next level with a loop isn't found until you reach Wizpig's Planet.
