Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. How many cheats affect the bananas of the game?

Answer: Four

NOYELLOWSTUFF, BOGUSBANANAS, FREEFRUIT, and VITAMINB are cheats that affect the bananas of the game. NOYELLOWSTUFF eliminates all bananas, BOGUSBANANAS, cause bananas to slow your racer down, FREEFRUIT lets you begin a race with ten bananas, and VITAMINB allows unlimited top speed depending on the number of bananas you receive.
2. How many racers are medium in weight (including unlockable characters)?

Answer: Five

Diddy Kong, Timber, Conker, Bumper, and T.T. are medium in weight. Krunch, Banjo, and Drumstick are heavy in weight. Tiptup and Pipsy are light in weight.
3. Which world has all four tracks, each with their own unique music?

Answer: Dino Domain

Each track in Dino Domain has its unique music. In Snowflake Mountain, Everfrost Peak and Snowball Valley share the same music. In Sherbet Island, Pirate Lagoon and Treasure Caves share the same music. In Dragon Forest, Windmill Plains and Greenwood Village share the same music.
4. According to the "Diddy Kong Racing" instruction booklet, how many of the racers (not including T.T.) are inhabitants of Timber's Island (the location the game took place)?

Answer: Five

According to the instruction booklet: Timber, Pipsy, Bumper, Tiptup, and Drumstick are the inhabitants of Timber's Island. Diddy Kong got a letter from Timber, so he decided to invite Conker and Banjo along. Krunch was spying with another Kremling and decided to follow Diddy Kong to prevent anyone from plotting against the Kremlings of the jungle. Drumstick was mentioned to have disappeared after he challenged Wizpig in a race.
5. How many zippers are in each lap during the first race against Wizpig?

Answer: Six

The zippers are essential for winning the first Wizpig race because there are no balloons for the race. Most of the zippers lead the racer over the water to prevent him/her from slowing down.
6. Which racer was the only non-unlockable racer who did not appear in the first ending of the game?

Answer: Banjo

Before Wizpig crashed the party, seven out of the eight racers appeared in the first ending. Diddy Kong was flying on the plane. Conker, Pipsy, and Krunch were dancing near the "party" sign. Tiptup and Bumper were randomly running around the beach. And Timber was dancing with Taj the Genie.
7. When Wizpig crashed the party, three racers along with Taj (the elephant genie) were running in circles. A purple spaceship (shaped like a squirrel's head) appeared and attempted to shoot two of the three racers. Which racer was not shot at?

Answer: Tiptup

When Wizpig crashed the party, Tiptup, Bumper, and Conker (along with Taj) ran in circles. When the spaceship appeared, it attempted the shoot at Conker and Bumper. Fortunately, the ship missed both of them. Tiptup was offscreen while the spaceship was shooting.
8. What did Wizpig nickname the racers?

Answer: Worms

Three of Wizpig's quotes called the racers "worms". One of the quotes was, "Sorry to break the party WORMS! ...but I HAD to say GOODBYE!" Another quote was, "See ya later WORMS!" The last quote was, "Well, lookie here! It's the LITTLE WORM!"
9. How many types of balloons are in the second Wizpig race?

Answer: Three

During the second Wizpig race, the red, blue, and yellow balloons were used. The red balloons were used to shoot Wizpig, the blue balloons were used to speed the racer up, and the yellow balloons were used to protect the racer from being shot from the spaceships.
10. Which "Diddy Kong Racing" boss did not appear in the second ending?

Answer: Bubbler

Tricky the Triceratops appeared first by leading two young triceratops during the second ending. Bluey the Walrus appeared (along with T.T.) next by climbing out of the tunnel leading from the area near Snowflake Mountain to the main area. Smokey the Dragon appeared last by giving Timber a ride in the air.
