1. After being defeated in Shade Impulse, which character utters the line "The flesh rots, but the soul never dies"?

Answer: Golbez

Golbez and Cecil hail from the moon, and belong to race called the Lunarians. Throughout the game, Cecil asks Golbez to join the side of good, and even defends Golbez from ExDeath's attacks.
2. Who's Manikin is called Capricious Thief?

Answer: Zidane's

Zidane was a thief in his debut in the series. He work for Tantalus, a thievery ring hidden behind the facade of a theater troupe. His flirtatious ways have followed him into this game, as he charms Terra as often as he can.
3. During a cutscene in Shade Impulse, whom does Chaos say he had dreamed of?

Answer: Cosmos

Necron is the final boss in "Final Fantasy IX" and actually does not appear in this game. In his dream, Chaos says he and Cosmos ruled the world side by side, not as enemies. He is quite shaken by this.
4. The Treasure Hunter play plan sends which Chocobo out to find accessories?

Answer: Fat Chocobo

This play plan will yield only three items, Chocobo Down, Feather, and Wing. These accessories give your experience a huge boost, but can break after being used.

Answer: Gabranth

Gabranth still has a huge chip on his shoulder. You can unlock him after beating the stage Distant Glory, throughout which he will taunt you with his dialogue.

Answer: Cloud of Darkness

Onion Knight is the youngest warrior of Cosmos. He has a hard time believing in himself during his story, but feels better after a pep talk from his Goddess. He overcomes his insecurities and faces Cloud of Darkness bravely.
7. How much PP do you typically obtain from Mognet letters?

Answer: 30

Every so often you'll get lucky and obtain upwards of 300 PP. Mognet offers tips and tricks, as well as fun trivia questions about the entire series.
8. What does the Rosetta Stone do when equipped as an accessory?

Answer: Luck + 4

The Rosetta Stone has made several appearances in the series. In this game you can equip it, or exchange it for a level increase!
9. Who briefly accompanies Terra during her story?

Answer: Cloud

Cloud sees Terra losing control of her powers and decides to fight her to calm her down. The two talk a bit afterward, and Terra mentions filling the world with wildflowers and makes Cloud look away (surely it brought up a painful memory).

Answer: Onion Knight

Onion Knight is a very optimistic character. He accompanies Terra throughout both of their stories.

You receive Player Icons from completing certain accomplishments. Some of them can be purchased with PP as well. You can view them in the Museum, and set them as Friend Icons for online play.
12. In one Mognet message, Mogstache kind of takes a shot at which other staple creature in the series?

Answer: Chocobo

Mogstache shares his knowledge of all the different Moogles in the series. In one letter he says that one day Moogles will have their own game, better than some "dumb old" racing or dungeon adventure.
13. Which of these summons is not attainable?

Answer: Siren

Rubicante was actually in only one installment of the series until now, "Final Fantasy IV". He is the leader of the legendary Four Fiends controlled by Golbez.
14. During Cecil's story, who tells him to go meet with his brother?

Answer: Tidus

Tidus mentions if it bothers Cecil so much, just go see Golbez. Cecil agrees and sets off to find his brother. Tidus then worries that Firion will be angry for sending Cecil away.
15. Though not widely known, the Emperor does in fact have a name. What is it?

Answer: Mateus

His proper name is Emperor Mateus Palamecia. The name Mateus is used in other installments of the series as well, such as a Totem and an Esper. In this game, Mateus plans to aid Chaos until he can dethrone the god, and rule the world by himself.
