When you finish filling out an entire map, you're given a hefty bonus for your completion. Jean-Eric has requests available for you with people requesting pictures of specific animals. The higher quality of the picture, the more Pelagos you earn. You're also given a grade (A to E) based on your efforts. Oceana has lists of people who are requesting guided tours from you. Like photos, you're given more Pelagos the harder you work. If your client wants to see a specific animal, you must make sure you show them! Oceana encourages you to take them around the map and show them other animals as well, interacting with them. You don't earn Pelagos by merely finding new fish, but you do earn different achievements for doing so.

Answer: Deep Hole

Deep Hole is only accessible through Gatama Atoll. It houses Japanese eagle rays and giant groupers. "A massive cavity in the ocean floor that strikes fear and wonder into the hearts of all who see it. A great place to see rays and groupers," reads the page that can be seen as you enter the Deep Hole. Early in the story, you must save Oceana from a tiger shark found here. You can also see Pacific white-sided dolphins and a unique ocean sunfish.

Answer: Cortica River Upstream

This caiman can be found in the Cortica River Upstream. He swims in and out of the Sacred Chamber any time during the day or at night. Like most of the legendary creatures, King Gigide is unique in the fact that he is white. Legends say that a wind god ended up in the Cortica River and occasionally appears by humans to judge them. If the person is considered good, he gives them a long life. If King Gigide assesses you and thinks you're a bad person, he immediately devours you!

Yes, even the cuddly Weddell Sea has you facing danger. In the quest "Ancient Ice," a single, hungry great white shark stands in your way and you must pulsar it. In the gentle Gatama Atoll, at night, an aggressive tiger shark awaits in the Deep Hole. Ciceros Strait houses several great white sharks, never mind the immense Thanatos.

The North Coast of Canada in the Arctic Ocean houses large Greenland sharks. The Cortica River offers the diverse dangers of piranhas, electric eels, and caimans defending their young. And finally, deep in the Zahhab Depths lays a bluntnose sixgill shark. All of these creatures see you and attack.

Technically, Okeanos's Guardian is a goblin shark, but it's a monstrous one, larger than the others. The Guardian, as well as other goblin sharks, swims around the Pillars of Shadow at night in the Cavern of the Gods. The frilled shark can be found at D-1 and is also only seen at night.

The frilled shark won't harm you but the goblin sharks are aggressive and will attack. The bluntnose sixgill shark is in the Zahhab Region, but in the depths and not the Cavern.

You're diving at night with Oceana when you run into GG. He basically laughs at you because he knows who is coming. He leaves and sure enough, Thanatos is introduced. This immense great white shark sees you and attacks! You find out quickly that the pulsar gun is useless against him and all you can do is flee. From then on you can find him in Ciceros Strait at H6 and H7, as well as all around the outside of Valka Castle, swimming outside the windows.

Answer: Black Harbinger

First, you must look in your telescope until a message appears about seeing a dark shadow in the Spring Garden. That means it will be a new moon that night. So dive at midnight at Gatama Atoll to meet the Black Harbinger, which is a black humpback whale. Cocao Maharaja, a large turtle, can be seen at night, but it doesn't have to be a new moon.

The Anomalocaris can only be found after finding all of the coins of the solar system, which includes the Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, coins, as well as Solar and Lunar.

This creature can then be spotted in the Underwater Gallery, outside of the window in Valka Castle. Cameroceras is found in the Zahhab Region after finding all of the Zodiac coins: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.

Another side quest to do while playing the regular storyline is searching for all of the coins. There are 100 total spread throughout every location. They are always found under "glows" and it's important to bring Oceana along when looking for them.

They even come with a main quest called "Voice of the Night Sky," which is made up of several smaller requests. If you find the specific lists of coins for each little quest, you get rewarded with money or unlockable items.

There are a total of 200 different items to find buried in every location. You're given a "multi-sensor" which can detect things in the sand made of wood, metal, stone, or density. Sometimes an item can have more than one element. It's possible to find the same item more than once as well, so you'll have to keep using your multi-sensor to find new ones.

It's true that there are sharks that attack when you get too close to them. But instead of biting you, they kind of turn their bodies and whack you with their tails. And instead of making you bleed, it saps oxygen from your tank. Once you run out of air, you're forced to return to the boat.

Some sharks, like Thanatos, knock two bars off because of their immense strength and size. There's a title you can earn by being attacked by a dangerous animal 100 times.
