1. In what game can you not transform into Super Sonic?

Answer: Sonic 1

"Sonic 1" does not allow you to transform, perhaps because there are only six emeralds in the game. The normal amount of emeralds are seven, so either they added one in "Sonic 2" to make sense of no Super Sonic in "Sonic 1", or they just felt like adding one for the rest of the games.

2. What game does not feature Tails?

Answer: Sonic CD

"Sonic CD" was one of the more classic games, despite it coming out way later than "Sonic 3" and whatnot. The possible reason for this is the designers in "Sonic CD" were different compared to "Sonic 2" through "Sonic & Knuckles".

3. Which game features Michael Jackson's soundtrack?

Answer: Sonic 3

Michael Jackson wrote most of the soundtrack in "Sonic 3". Later on, MJ decided not to have his song in the game. SEGA kept his song anyway but left him out of the credits.

4. What version of "Sonic CD" has a different soundtrack?

Answer: North American

The USA version of the game had an evil laugh in most of the songs. Looking at the EU and JAP version, they sure like to party!

5. What game here DOES feature the Death Egg as a playable zone?

Answer: Sonic 2

"Sonic 1" didn't have the Death Egg all together in the first place. "Sonic CD" had the Death Egg, but it wasn't a zone. It was just something in the intro and ending. "Sonic 3" alone had no Death Egg, but if you locked it on with "Sonic & Knuckles" then the last zone for Sonic was the Death Egg.

6. What game here does NOT feature Metal Sonic?

Answer: Sonic 3 & Knuckles

"Sonic R" and "Sonic Heroes" have Metal Sonic in it. In "Sonic Heroes", you must unlock the "Last" story by getting all the chaos emeralds and beat the game with all teams. Metal Sonic is in that story. In "Sonic CD", Metal Sonic is the boss for Stardust Speedway. "Sonic 3 & Knuckles" has MECHA Sonic, not Metal however.

7. Why is Knuckles attacking Sonic and Tails in "Sonic 3" but joining them in "Sonic & Knuckles"?

Answer: Robotnik tricked him, but he realizes the truth

This was actually quite an easy question for this part of the quiz. Robotnik tried to tell Knuckles that Sonic was trying to go for the Master Emerald, and Knuckles should do something. Knuckles did, but also stole Sonic's emeralds and ran off. When they finally showdown in Hidden Palace zone, he finds Dr. Robonik stealing the emerald and invites Sonic to give some payback.

8. What do you do in "Sonic Triple Trouble" to get an emerald?

Answer: You do a special stage segment, then you fight a boss - Nack

If you get into a special stage, then you will be asked to either do a maze of get on the tornado and collect rings. Then, after each special stage segment, you fight a boss called Nack The Weasel.

9. What game here DOES feature Metal Sonic?

Answer: Sonic Triple Trouble

"Sonic Triple Trouble" actually does have a Metal Sonic boss. "Sonic 2" has Silver Sonic, not really METAL Sonic. "Sonic 2" on the Game Gear was put there to make up for the other two answers being kinda obvious; no, it doesn't have Metal Sonic either though.

10. Which of these games did Yuji Naka NOT take part in?

Answer: Sonic CD

Yuji Naka and many other SEGA contributors haven't taken part in "Sonic CD". Instead, some other workers decided to fill in for the others' "take five". Hirokazu Yasuhara has also backed off on this game.
