1. In the 1981 "Donkey Kong" game, who is the young woman captured by Donkey Kong?

Answer: Pauline

In the earliest release, Pauline was originally known as the Lady. She also appeared in the animated TV series "Saturday Supercade".

2. In the first level of "Donkey Kong", how many points do you get for jumping over two barrels?

Answer: 300

If you jump over one barrel, you get 100 points. If you jump over three, you get 500 points.

3. In both of the first two "Donkey Kong" games, how many points do you need in order to gain an extra life?

Answer: 10,000

Only in the NES version, you need 20,000 points to gain an extra life. After that, you will get no more extra lives.

4. What is Mario's original name in the arcade version of "Donkey Kong"?

Answer: Jumpman

Mario first got his name in 1982, during the release of "Donkey Kong Junior". However, his name was mentioned in the manual.

5. In the NES version of "Donkey Kong", which screen level was cut off from the arcade?

Screen 2, however, in the arcade version, is still first available on Level 3. Also, it is referred to as a pie factory.

After you reach the next level, the bonus points increase by 1,000. However, they will stop when you reach a total of 8,000.

10. How many keyholes must be unlocked to rescue Donkey Kong in "Donkey Kong Junior"?

Answer: Six

After all keyholes are unlocked, almost everything disappears and Junior will catch Papa. Plus, Mario will be defeated.
