1. At the beginning of the game, who comes to tell DK about what's happened?

Answer: Squawks

Squawks comes to tell Donkey about how the Kremlings have kidnapped the other four Kongs, built a doomsday weapon, and stolen his Golden Bananas. You don't see Squawks again until you free Diddy.

2. DK then has to train in Cranky's training barrels. Which minigame does he not have to play?

Answer: Barrel Cannon Training

Donkey also has to play a barrel-throwing training game. When DK beats all four of the training barrels, he can go back and see Cranky to get the Simian Slam.

3. Which Bananaport in DK Isles is closest to Jungle Japes?

Answer: 3

Bananaport 3 is on the back of the island, near the cave entrance to Jungle Japes where you claim your first Golden Banana. The other Bananaport 3 is with the set of the other 4, in the front.

4. How many bananas do Troff and Scoff require in Jungle Japes?

Answer: 60

It's really easy to find the 60 required bananas to enter the first boss fight. There's a possible 200 bananas to collect with Donkey and Diddy alone.

5. When you reach Diddy, he will ask you to shoot the three coconut switches to free him. Which bananaport is closest to the center coconut switch?

Answer: 4

The other Bananaport 4 is near Cranky's Potions, on the other side of the tunnel near the first Bananaport 4. You will visit that Cranky shop a few times.

6. Where is the first Battle Arena pad?

Answer: In front of Funky's Armory

When you step on the pad, you warp to your first Battle Arena. You will have to survive for a while before you get your first Battle Crown. You will need four by the end of the game.

7. When you become Rambi as Donkey Kong, how many Golden Bananas will you get (indirectly) by destroying the huts and Rambi picture in the cave?

Answer: 5

You can get one Golden Banana for each of the huts (by hitting the switches underneath) and one by destroying the picture in the cave. Behind it is a Chunky boulder which you must move to get the other Golden Banana.

8. After you save Diddy, he can pick up red bananas, red coins, shoot down red Banana Ballons, and pound what type of switches (as of the time you get him)?

Answer: Green

Yeah, that was a trick question. Anyone can pound on the green switches, and nobody can pound on red switches until Creepy Castle, a long time away. The blue switches can be pounded after Fungi Forest.

9. How many hits can Army Dillo take before he loses?

Answer: 3

You must dodge his fireballs, then throw a TNT barrel to hit him. After, you dodge his rolling attack, then start the whole thing all over again (but with more fireballs).

10. When DK delivers the first Boss Key to K. Lumsy, what world does he open?

Answer: Angry Aztec

When you beat Army Dillo, you get the first Boss Key. Angry Aztec is a fun world where you can free my two favorite Kongs, Tiny and Lanky.
