Ness and Paula can't walk through the tunnel themselves, but they are able to get through by car when hitching a ride with the Runaway Five. The Runaway Five, however, continue on to Fourside after dropping the two of them off, leaving them seemingly stranded in the eerie town. An elderly man near the town's eastern tunnel explains how they can get through: "The band was really noisy, so the ghosts didn't approach the bus.

It must be great to be so happy-go-lucky, huh!"

There are two zombie gatekeepers guarding the entrance to Grapefruit Falls and Saturn Valley. They're not fightable, but the entrance does later become accessible.

Apple Kid is an inventor that Ness meets in Twoson (not to be confused with his useless neighbor, Orange Kid) that provides Ness with several helpful inventions throughout the journey. Apple Kid calls Ness and tells him about his new invention called Zombie Tape, which he promptly sends over by pizza delivery man.

The item can be used in the central tent to lure the town's zombies (including the gatekeepers in the northwest side of town), which allows Ness to continue on to the third "Your Sanctuary" location.

Two of the four items, the bottle rocket and the toy air gun, can only be used by Jeff. But, the other two items, the rust promoter and the bomb, can be used by any member of the party. The black market dealer can be located behind Threed's pizza parlor.

In Threed, a mysterious blonde woman is found standing outside of the hotel. Upon sight of her, she dashes into the building, leading Ness and Paula into a bedroom upstairs. There the two find themselves ambushed and imprisoned underneath the cemetery, until Jeff arrives from Winters with his trusty Bad Key Machine and saves them.

The Teddy Bear is located in front of the Hint Man's house in the northeast side of town, while the Skip Sandwich is found in front of a house near the eastern tunnel. Meanwhile, an Insecticide Spray can be found in the town's northwestern cemetery. But, don't be fooled! Several of the town's enemies are disguised as trash cans.

There's also an empty trash can in front of Threed's drug store.

As the resident himself puts it, "Yeah I worked for the zombies, but I betrayed them too. I'm a con man so I know the score. Belch gives life to the zombies, but Belch works for Giygas, who I heard might be female."

After Jeff rescues Ness and Paula, a mysterious second tent appears in the southern part of town. After approaching it, a face appears on it, and the "Boogey Tent" attacks. After its defeat, it drops a Jar of Fly Honey, which is necessary to fight Master Belch.

The photographer appears when the party walks in front of a tombstone in-between the town's two cemeteries. After the Zombie Tape is used, he also takes your picture in front of the central tent. If you're not photogenic, don't worry; both of these photographs are avoidable.

The Insignificant Item can be found in the second floor of the town's hospital after Master Belch is defeated. It can then be taken to a man on the second floor of the Twoson hospital in exchange for a Magic Truffle, which heals a whopping 80-90 PP.
