Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In "Final Fantasy VII", Cloud Strife would most likely be considered which of these?

Answer: Knight

Cloud would most likely be considered a Knight due to his ability to wield a sword. Without Magic, Cloud would have difficulty attacking long range which eliminates Rangers who are generally known for the ability to attack long range. He can use summons but so can any other teammates.

This means the skill is not specific to himself. Geomancer does not fit the skill of any playable characters in game.
2. Which of the following characters would most likely use the Mime ability?

Answer: Gogo

Gogo is a character available in "Final Fantasy VI". He is classed best as a mime because he can repeat the last action in battle. Kimahri can use enemy skills but he is not best suited to the job because his repertoire is very limited and he does not have the specific attack, 'Mime'. Gogo is the only one above with the ability 'Mime'.
3. To obtain the Lady Luck dress sphere in "Final Fantasy X-2", what game must you play and who must you beat?

Answer: Sphere break, Shinra

Lady Luck uses reels which are similar to Wakka's overdrive in "Final Fantasy X". In any other "Final Fantasy" game that featured this job, it could also be known as 'Gambler'. Both Setzer and Cait Sith could be described as 'Gamblers' due to their use of dice and similar attacks.
4. Which of these are least likely to use any type of magic?

Answer: Bard

Black Mages obviously have access to Black Magic. The same goes for White Mages, who have the ability to use White Magic.
Paladins commonly have White Magic powers too.
5. In "Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles", which of the following was not a job?

Answer: Butcher

These jobs were not ones that affect skills in battle like previous additions. The battle system itself also differed in that it was real time. This set the way for games like "Dirge of Cerberus" and "Final Fantasy XII".
6. Summoners have the ability to call creatures into battle. Which of the following does not appear as a summon in any game from the "Final Fantasy" series?

Answer: Ctthullus

Kjata is a summon in "Final Fantasy VII" it uses an attack that deals fire, ice and thunder damage.
Tritoch is a bird like summon with a similar attack to Kjata.
Shemhaizai is an esper in "Final Fantasy XII" and is said to be the Esper of Soul.
7. Which of the following is not a Green Magick spell according to "Final Fantasy XII"?

Answer: Slow

Slow is a Time Magick spell. Time Magick consists of spells that speed a party member up or slow an enemy down, even bringing them to a complete stop with a certain spell.
8. How many summon monsters from "Final Fantasy I-XII", "Final Fantasy Tactics", "Final Fantasy Tactics Advance", and "Final Fantasy Mystic Quest" have names that begin with the letters X, Y and Z?

Answer: Five

They are Yojimbo, Zolera, Zeromus, Zoneseek and Zodiark. Yojimbo is the only summon in "Final Fantasy I-XII" with a name that begins with the letter Y.
9. In some games, only certain weapons are available to certain classes. Which of these weapon sets are most likely to be used by 'Dark Knights'?

Answer: Swords, Scythes and Ninja Swords

Swords are a staple weapon for Dark Knights in all games they appear in. Scythes appear as a weapon for Dark Knights in "Final Fantasy XI" and Ninja Swords can be used by Dark Knights in "Final Fantasy III".
10. Which of the following is not a dress sphere available in any version of "Final Fantasy X-2"?

Answer: Paladin

Songstress is obviously available from the start.
Festival Goer is a dress sphere available in the "International + Last Mission" version. It focuses mostly on inflicting status ailments on the opposition.
Similar to Festival Goer, Pyschicer is a dress sphere exclusive to the "International + Last Mission" version. It includes attacks that render party members invincible from certain attacks.
