1. Which of the following jobs have abilities that are NOT classified as techniques?

Answer: Ninja

Ninja abilities fall under 'Ninja Skill'. These low MP spells damage as well as inflict status ailments. Soldiers, Fighters, and Dragoons use 'Combat Tech', 'Fighter Tech', and 'Dragon Tech' respectively.

2. In order to make a Morpher, a Nu Mou needs five abilities from which class?

Answer: Beastmaster

Beastmasters are only useful when you are fighting clans that employ monsters. The Beastmaster can control monsters for the duration of one round by using their magical instruments. This is a great way to build up a Blue Mage's spell repertoire, and in some cases it's the only way!

Answer: hunter

A Hunter with the ability Hunt is needed to capture monsters and their souls. The Morpher will equip these souls in order to transform into all of the monsters in that class that you have captured. This says nothing about how much time and money you have to spend raising these captured creatures.

Strikeback automatically reduces the chance of being hit to zero (the block), and allows a counter-attack. Bonecrusher offers a boosted counter-attack, but only if you are hit by an opponent in your attack range. Counter offers a counterattack if you are hit or missed with any attack if the attacker is in range.

Funny that the mostly non-magical Bangaa are the only ones capable of learning this powerful spell. Paladins can loosely recreate this effect with Holy Blade, but it can only target one foe.

As long as the target has enough MP, the character with Return Magic will cast the same spell and target the original caster. Summons, Illusionist spells, Alchemy, Sagacity, Blue, Red, Prayer, anything, as long as it is a spell.

Nu Mou alchemists learn an interesting variety of damaging and status changing spells. Make one by acquiring five Black Mage abilities and three White Mage abilities.

Answer: Faster

The Faster ability nullifies the reaction ability of the character it is used on, including Block Arrows, to score a damaging strike. Even though the word Aim is in the other three abilities, they cannot hit a person with Block Arrows active.

Answer: No

Generally, special shots will surpass these barriers. The sole exception to this is the Sniper ability Doubleshot. That ability simply allows two regular shots in one round, and are subject to the same rules as Fighting. Other shots like Faster, Fireshot, Aim: Weapon, and others can hit normally. Of course, it helps to have the Concentrate ability equipped.

Answer: Blue Mage

The ability in question is Damage>MP. As long as a person with the ability Damage>MP has MP remaining, damage will be taken away from MP and not HP. As characters recover a small amount of MP each round in this game, you could survive indefinitely if you were only attacked once in a round. Put two people on anyone with this ability to be safe.
