You end up taking a long detour in order to arrive back at the point where you can go to Bevelle, Calm Lands and the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth. The path going forwards leads to Lake Macalania and also Macalania Temple.

2. The first treasure chest you find is a weapon for Lulu. This treasure chest is quite well hidden, but what creature is it?

Answer: Cait Sith

The treasure chest contains a 'Sleepy Cait Sith' which has the ability 'Sleeptouch'. Cait Sith is one of the characters from 'Final Fantasy 7', a Moomba is a creature from 'Final Fantasy 8', and a Cactuar appears throughout most of the 'Final Fantasy' series. Tonberry also appears throughout the 'Final Fantasy' series, but none of Lulu's weapons resembles a Tonberry.

3. After travelling through the woods, Auron leads you to a location where you fight a Spherimorph. Which monster in the Monster Arena most resembles this boss?

Answer: Greater Sphere

The Greater Sphere is created by generating two monsters during the Species Conquest. It uses the deadly spell 'Ultima' as well as 'Hydraulic Press', a powerful attack that the Spherimorph also uses.

4. After yet another Al Bhed attack, you continue the pilgrimage at Macalania Temple. During this visit, you find out a dark secret about Seymour. What is the secret?

Answer: He killed his father

After entering the temple, you find a sphere. The sphere depicts Seymour's father, Jyscal, before his death, talking about how Seymour is crazy and that he will kill Jyscal in the future.

5. The gang confronts Seymour because of this uncovered secret. Seymour, being a Summoner, has his own guardians. How will his guardians counter an attack directed towards them?

Answer: They will use a Hi-Potion

This counter makes the guardians annoying to kill. This problem can be overcome by stealing Hi-Potions from the guardians using Rikku. The guardians also use a mixture of spells and items to inflict status effects on you.

6. Seymour casts Black Magic spells in the same order throughout the battle. What is the order?

Answer: Ice, Lightning, Water, Fire

This sequence of spells makes it easy to defend against using Yuna's 'Nul' spells. After Anima is defeated, Seymour doublecasts his spells, making it slightly harder to defend against. The order of the spells still stays the same.

7. Even though you have the aeon Shiva, you have to do the Cloister of Trials anyway. What is the bonus treasure in this trial?

Answer: Luck Sphere

Getting all six bonus treasures allows you to obtain the secret aeon, Anima. You'd better have the Besaid bonus treasure by now, because you will be confronted by a tough Dark Valefor if you want to return to Besaid later on.

8. Now you end up riding on the back of Sin all the way to Sanubia Desert. The characters are all scattered upon arrival. Which two characters does Tidus reunite with first?

Answer: Auron and Lulu

Auron and Lulu help Tidus in a fixed battle against a Zu. This Zu is much weaker than normal Zus, having 12,000 HP compared to the usual 18,000. Tidus may be able to win this battle by himself by using both Haste and Slow.

9. Now Tidus has been reunited with two characters. Who is the next character to join the gang?

Answer: Wakka

Wakka is found a little bit further on after the battle with Zu. In the next section, Kimahri is found on a path to the right, make sure you don't miss him! Rikku is found afterwards.

10. You'll find an Al Bhed inscription near the Save Sphere in the Central Section. What does it say in English?

Answer: Weaker fiend to the right, stronger fiend to the left.

Heading left from this sign takes you to the West section, where lots of treasure chests can be found, both in battle and out of battle. There are also lots of strong monsters such as Zu, Sand Worms and Cactuars, but they provide good AP.
