"Guild Wars: Prophecies" - Ring of Fire Islands Quiz

When players arrive at the Ring of Fire Islands after completing Thunderhead Keep, the only quest, "Final Blow", is available at Ember Light Camp. This quest leads players through Perdition Rock to the first of the three missions, Ring of Fire. Completing this mission will advance players to the Abaddon's Mouth mission.

The final mission in this area, and in the game, is Hell's Precipice, where the Lich must be killed to prevent the surge of Titans from crossing into this world.

Answer: Ember Light Camp

Ember Light Camp is the only outpost in this region, and as such, is the only way of accessing Perdition Rock. The skill trainer, Dakk, in Ember Light Camp knows every single skill for each of the core professions, which makes him a popular choice for players wanting to purchase skills that may aid them in their final fight against the Mursaat, the Titans and the Lich.

Answer: Perdition Rock

Perdition Rock is a rocky, almost impassable area that houses some of the toughest foes in the game. The fearsome Flesh Golems, and the deadly Mahgo Hydra will pose quite a threat to the unprepared party. Interruption of the Hydra's powerful Meteor Shower and Meteor are the key to getting through this area quickly and safely.

There are many bosses in this region, but can be difficult to get to. However, their Elite Skills are among the best in the game.

Answer: Brechnar Ironhammer

At the beginning of the mission, a large group of Mursaat stands in front of the players. Brechnar Ironhammer, Jalis' brother, runs straight through them, causing them to follow him. He leads them around a corner, and out of the way of players, giving time to get to a safe spot. The Mursaat are lured away, and then Brechnar is killed.

Answer: The Fissure of Woe

Scattered throughout the islands are strange sculptures and statues that are reminiscent of the Fissure of Woe. The Ring of Fire Islands used to be called Komalie's Rest, in reference to the Door of Komalie. Some of the rock formations found resemble some found in the Catacombs of Pre-Searing Ascalon.

Answer: Chimera of Intensity

Chimera of Intensity decreases skill recharge time, decreases skill Energy cost, and increases movement speed. It is cast on party members three times during the mission. At the beginning of the mission, it is cast and helps when fighting through the Mursaat forces. Once the party is through the Mursaat fortress, it will be cast again, and then again when the party reaches the Bloodstone with 6 Ether Seals.

However, the enchantment only lasts for two minutes.

Answer: Evirso Sectus

There are 5 Titan bosses that can be encountered in Hell's Precipice: Moles Quibus (Mesmer), Valetudo Rubor (Ranger), Maligo Libens (Necromancer), Tortitudo Probo (Warrior), and Scelus Prosum (Elementalist). Since bosses in "Prophecies" have random spawn points, players wishing to capture the Elite skills may need to play through quite a bit of the mission to reach the boss they are after.

Answer: Elementalist

The Sparks will make good use of the devastating Rodgort's Invocation, so a clumped up party will sustain a great deal of damage. Interrupts and standard anti-caster tactics are the key to shutting down these annoying little critters. Fortunately, they will not spawn more Titans upon their death.

Answer: The Door of Komalie

The Lich, now in control of the Scepter of Orr, can open the Door of Komalie and unleash the Titans on the world. For players this can mean good news and bad news. The good news is, in the final mission, Hell's Precipice, there are no Mursaat forces, as the Titans have killed them.

The bad news is, a Titan is not just one foe. Upon its death, it will spawn a Risen Ashen Hulk. Kill that, and a Hand and Fist of the Titans will emerge. Players should be sure to focus their fire and get rid of one Titan completely before another is killed.

While one end of the Door opens to the Ring of Fire Islands, the other end opens into the Foundry of Failed Creations in the Realm of Torment.

Answer: Droknar's Forge

As soon as the Lich is killed on the Bloodstone, and the Soul Batteries that hold the Door of Komalie closed are charged, a cinematic will play, signaling that the game is now complete. Once the cinematic is over, the party will be teleported to a small explorable area in Droknar's Forge, where they may receive a Deldrimor Talisman, and exchange it for an exclusive end-game item.

The majority of the NPCs that played a role in the player's journey, from Ascalon to the Ring of Fire Islands, will be in this area, offering their congratulations.
