Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In the very beginning of the game when you choose to start the campaign, you are treated to watch an interesting intro video. Who speaks in the beginning of this cinematic?

Answer: Cortana

Throughout the campaign, you find out that the Cortana you once knew isn't what she used to be. If you remember back in "Halo II", she was taken captive by the Overmind and it is up to you to save her in "Halo III".
2. After the intro, you, Master Chief, meet the alien, The Arbiter, in the mission "Sierra 117". You will not fight the Arbiter, but you will fight along his side throughout the rest of the game. Who's the first enemy you encounter in this mission?

Answer: Brute Captain Major

The first enemy you encounter is a Brute (Big Ape) but he doesn't use the Hammer. You encounter the new "Halo" Weapon, the Gravity Hammer, somewhere at the end of this mission. Brute Captain Majors do not use the Hammer any time in the game. They use the traditional Brute Shot (Grenade Launcher-ish) and Brute Spikers (Hand rifle that shoots deadly spikes at you).

These big guys (or in this case, THIS big guy) wears heavy golden armor and always leads a pack of grunt warriors to defeat his foes.
3. In "Halo III", there's something a little different about your appearance, called "Permutations". You can change the way you look by unlocking helmets, body armors or shoulder pads by completing certain achievements. Which of the following permutations do NOT exist?

Answer: The Specter Helmet

If you chose the Specter Helmet you may have been forced to do so by playing too much "Halo II". The Specter is a "Halo II" Covenant vehicle that was pulled from "Halo III" in order to make way for the Brute Prowler in Halo III; all of which are forms of warthogs with One Turret, one driver and one (some two) passenger seats... but this lecture would continue another day.
4. There have been many "change-of-alliances" throughout the "Halo" series. In the finale of "Halo III" which of the following races has the humans finally become peaceful allies at the end with?

Answer: Elites

The elites unexpectedly allies with the humans from the last few missions of "Halo II" and continues to fight alongside their human counterparts until the end. However, playing through "Halo III", the flood unexpectedly allies with you to fight against the Brutes, the Sentinels unexpectedly UN-allies you for the sake of the Halo ring and the Brutes? The brutes are no more.
5. In the "Halo III" multi player experience, you're introduced to many vehicles on the way. One of these vehicles is the unstoppable, Elephant. Which of the following is true about the Elephant?

Answer: It travelles extremely slow

It does! It is the slowest vehicle in the game, but it's not so bad of a vehicle. One of the mounted turrets on top this behemoth can be pulled off, you can very well flip this thing (but how in the world can you turn it over?), and you cannot destroy the elephant no matter how many shots you fire at it.

The Elephant, in actuality, is more of a mobile base used in a good game of Capture the flag.
6. Now, the elephant, as mentioned before, is quite a vehicle. I said that "you can very well flip this thing once it is turned over" in the last question, but how? I don't even have the slightest clue. But, I have seen it flipped over once in a game and to my surprise, you see an unfamiliar text on the top right screen when you go up to this now upside down vehicle. What does the text say?

Answer: Hold RB to flip... wait, what? How do you do that?

Sandtrap is the only map that features the elephant. If you play an online Big Team Battle then you may bump into many players who have done this before and may do it again. Try it with a friend.
7. As The Elephant being one, which of the following is another new human vehicle introduced into "Halo III"?

Answer: Hornet Aircrafts

The Hornets can only be used in the Campaign level "The Covenant" because it was a little too cheap in Multi player. The main weapon is a heavy machine gun, the secondary weapon is heat seeking missiles and the hornets could allow allies to ride along its side.
8. Can you customize your Spartan as a Female in multi player?

Answer: Yes

This only customizes the sound of your Spartan when he/she dies. The appearance isn't affected at all.
9. In your multiplayer profile. What does your profile front page say when you have not finished the Campaign?

Answer: Enlisted for Duty

If you finish the Campaign then your front page will say "Finished the Fight" with a special symbol representing which difficulty you've beat it on.
These are as follows:
Easy: Shield.
Normal: Shield and One Sword.
Heroic: Shield and Two Swords.
Legendary: Shield, Two swords and an elite's skull with a smoking bullet hole on its forehead.
10. Does Master Chief die in the end?

Answer: No

Watch the whole credits because there is a post-credit cinematic. Master Chief and the other half of the spaceship which escaped the Halo is drifting across space. Cortana sends a message to Earth to tell them that Master Chief is not dead but we don't know exactly when that message will arrive. Master Chief freezes himself in Cryogenics and tells Cortana to wake him up when they arrive. If the campaign is finished on Legendary, then you will see an extended clip of an unknown planet that Master Chief is drifting toward to. Just maybe, Halo 4 will be made in the future... just maybe.
