Kai, Rick, the Doctor, Cliff, Grey, Won, the River Kappa, and the Gourmet Chef are all acceptable candidates for marriage. The Gourmet Chef and Kappa will not move in with you even after marriage.

Popuri, Karen, Ann, Elli, Mary, and the Harvest Goddess are all marriage candidates. You will be given the option to allow your love to continue working or become a stay-at-home spouse. The Harvest Goddess will not move in with you if you marry her.

The Harvest Goddess pops up momentarily after a magical sound effect is played, she says, "You've just walked 10,000 steps. That is all - you get nothing."
This is not entirely true however, if you are playing "Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town", you get increased love points from her; which is useful if you plan on pursuing a relationship.

5. How many times do you have to throw on object (offering), into the river before the Harvest Goddess gives you a Power Berry?

Answer: Ten

It must, however, be on ten separate days. Throwing objects in the water after this will increase her love points for you in "Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town".

6. How few hearts does your spouse have to have before they will leave you?

Answer: Zero

You can only separate if you have not yet had a baby and your spouse goes down to zero hearts for you. They will then have a scene with you in which they will tell you they are leaving. You can not obtain another blue feather, so you can never get married again (to anyone).

7. In "Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town", the Mayor will give you the option to do what if you do not stop hitting him with your tools?

Answer: Quit the game

He also gives you the option of switching weapons (tools). No matter how many times you hit Thomas it will not have any lasting affect on your relationship later in the game. You can not marry Thomas, although if you go to bed at the right time on New Year's Eve, it is possible to have a dream in which you and Thomas get married.

Answer: All of these

Depending how tired you are (and possibly if you're blue with fatigue), you can automatically sleep in until either 8:00 am or 10:00 am. Whether you sleep in or not, you will be extra tired in the morning. Taking a few baths before hitting the hay late can prevent sleeping in.

Answer: It will be given back to Barley

You will not get another chance to own a horse. Talking to it everyday will be sufficient to keep it, you can also brush it to raise it's level of affection for you.

You will never see Popuri again if you do not marry her. Unfortunately her leaving is inevitable in "Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town".
