Do not confront this beast with weak weapons, especially if there is more than one.

Yeah, as surprising as it sounds, you actually do slam into them to pick up, but, in the original you had to catch the humans with your ship when they fell. The only time the rope is seen is when you pick up a battery or you have three humans on your ship. It is impossible to destroy all the Manti because they keep coming.

Two hang on to the wings and one holds on to the rope on the bottom of the ship. You can take them to safe areas and drop them off, and they will make health items and ammo for you.

Tanks can be carried by your ships rope to give you more firepower. It also gives you the ability to shoot behind you because the tank turret can turn. Be careful though, the tanks can be blown while you are carrying them.

After you take the two humans to the missile crawler factory the produce a missile crawler for you. These vehicles are extremely good for ground to air combat. You can pick them up and take them to other places, but they don't give you extra firepower because the missile launcher part closes up in to the body of the vehicle.

These are the perfect asset for your ship during the last two locations, the moon and the Earth, because they are swarming with heavily armored Manti. You can set them on the ground and they will start to repair the tanks and missile crawlers on the ground. Now if they could only repair themselves.

As cool as it would have been to see the bots fix the ship with a metal rod or nanobots, we get this beam of electricity that gets the job done. It doesn't take too long for your ship to be fully repaired though. With that machine you are pretty much invincible.

It takes place during the retaking of Earth where Memory will go suicidal to destroy the manti. Don't think about taking a weak ship into the level. Take your most upgraded, most powerful ship, or be prepared to die.
